What is it about a uniform on a man that makes women act different?

Yesterday, I went to this pretty cool shopping plaza, where I bought a candle, shirt, etc.

All of which run by women

It was after work, so I was in uniform.

They just seemed more RECEPTIVE to my humor and laughed more easily.

They seemed more playful/easy going from what I gathered

Now, could I have the same reaction without the uniform on? Perhaps so yeah, although I don't know.

Maybe it's not the uniform but just me and my personality?

A uniform means a few things that are extremely important to women: 1) he’s got a job, 2) he is comfortable being bossed around, and 3) he’s self-sacrificing. Any of these things are marriageable qualities to most women. All of them together are the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. Ell oh ell!
Oh, and some of them get excited knowing you’ll be away for long periods of time while the checks keep coming in. So she can bang anyone she wants anytime she wants, as you subsidize her infidelity. Ell oh ell!

Meh. Not in my experience. People in military towns generally don’t give a damn and the ladies at the PX aren’t impressed by how many stripes you have on your sleeve. You’re just another body in a uniform. Coming and going with deployments, TDY’s, and PCS’s.

That is not caused by any uniform, but specifically the military uniform, it is because women consider brave male war heroes as sexually attractive.

I think it has subconsciously something to do with authority, power, and importance. Also man Look good in uniform because he is usually cleaned up, because he has to Look presentable While Is wearing it. It's hot. Especially wearing a formal uniform

But people do respect military service for the most part, and I think that has something to do with it. It did when I was in the military.
