Why do cops look at me?

Everytime i come accross a police officer here in nyc, they always look or glance at me. Making eye contact. Not a glare or menacing stare. This usually happens after i look at them and then look away.

I like a man in uniform and i think most of them are really cute but im too afraid to make it obvious

cops know they are intimidating and they are gauging whether each person they come across is a potential criminal or not. when someone has something to hide, cops can usually detect them upon sight

Because they saw you look at them and look away so they're looking to see if you make eye contact to flirt with them or you were just looking around.

Cops look at everyone it’s how they’re trained. They’re probably seeing if toh have weapons and if you’re a threat

Cops are also human, maybe they find you attractive.

Well there are a shitload of em. Overprotecting the crazy traffic and citizens of Manhattan. Maybe you could ask one out? Say something silly like "Could you protect and serve me?"
