Why don’t we encourage people to work with/on their flaws anymore?

Seriously there is more plastic on people than in the oceans this stuff is destroying peoples (mainly women) self esteem and doing even more damage to their bodies

I think it’s a mental illness because normal average looking people go from looking regular to receiving so much attention and validation and it’s addictive

ideally we should but realistically that's simply not possible in a world where everyone has their own dreams and by extension certain people who fit that dream.

it's an unfortunate truth of this world, your greatest/worst gifts are not the ones you obtain or don't obtain but the ones you're born with.

sure we can tell people to accept their own flaws but can others accept their flaws?

Omfg I almost puked. Stupid pays well in today's world. Sad world we live in. People get influenced so easily today the dumbest things to themselves. No clue what happened with being comfortable in your own skin. Especially when they are naturally beautiful, then end up looking so ugly, scary and fake.
