What do you think about high waisted bikini bottoms?

This came up when I was planning spring break with some of my friends... personally I love them. They accentuate my waist, are incredibly flattering, and still look cute without showing a lot of skin. My friends, on the other hand, think that they are frumpy and look like diapers._.

I mean, objectively, the black bottoms the model is wearing in the pic you posted looks virtually identical to the same thing a grandma wears as spanx/adult diapers.

On a younger person, I'm not saying it looks ridiculous but it's not "attractive" but at the same time... who cares? Wear what makes you feel comfortable. Guys can wear whatever type of unattractive shorts (and shirt) to the beach and it's considered fine & normal, so girls/women should obviously be able to do the same.

fuck yeah! evenly divides your torso for q clean look, accentuates the waist-hip curves, and i know for a fact some of my friends like having the option of covering skin below their belly button!

remember that if one looks like model picture here, most swimwear will look conventionally attractive. but if not, then switching up your swimwear is great to accentuate certain parts of your physique. again, confidence is key!!

I know this because my mother bought some that were the wrong size and didn't fit her, so she gave them to me and I really didn't want them, but accepted them anyways so that her money wouldn't go to waste and I hate the way they feel as opposed to boyshort and hipster panties

For me, The higher waist certainly is weird at first but after a while I like it because it makes me feel even more comfortable because I feel like “tucked in” if that makes sense. Also feeling it end at my waist makes it feel smaller

I'm not really sure what to think of them since I've never worn them myself. The only bathing suit I wear (and have) is a tankini top with boyshort swim bottoms. I guess if you do not like your belly showing then high waisted bikini bottoms is one way of doing it.

Personally I feel really cute in them. Yeah they dont show as much skin but they direct attention to your waist. They're comfortable too, don't really have to worry about them riding up as much

Honestly, any style of bathing suit can be cute... but for guys it all depends more on the women then the suit itself. I can't imagine my girlfriend wearing any type of suit style that does not look cute on her amazing body. Now some might be sexier and more revealing, and that is not a bad thing... but that is not the question. The high waist can be way more, cute on certain women.

Say she has great figure, but not the best stomach, the waist could be great choice.

I selected cute. I think, like every other piece of clothing, it depends very specifically on that specific garment and how it was designed and then the body it is on. On one woman, it would be hot, another cute, and a third frumpy granny panties.

I think they can look pretty good and can help women with waist, belly issues, in some cases but I prefer the lower waisted ones as far as appearance goes. Not saying you have any issues, just general opinion.
