The exact opposite seems true for me I don’t think I’m very good looking or attractive at all and this has caused a big problem with me and my girlfriend because she is really really beautiful I don’t believe that she really likes me I have no clue what she sees in me I don’t tell her this but I think she knows

it depends on each person, and how confident you are. Confidence is good indeed, but being overconfident is another thing. And people may react differently to it.

I think confidence in key no matter the situation. But it’s also being in tune with that confidence and remembering not everyone is going to have similar opinions or views.

I think confidence is grossly overrated. If they look ugly to me, no amount of confidence in themselves is going to change that, at least on the surface. I can still find their personality attractive but not their body or face in that case.
