On the one hand it seems really fun but on the other I’m not sure if it will look tacky!
What do you think?
Also I love the idea of getting my partner’s name tattooed wherever he wants 😂 that’s definitely something for the future one day.
In the realm of body art, tattooing stands as a sovereign force, etching its indelible mark not only upon the canvas of one's skin but also upon the annals of human history. The appeal of this resplendent art form is manifold, as it weaves its magic through every crevice and contour of the body.
Forsooth, to adorn oneself with a tattoo is to embark upon a deeply personal journey, a pilgrimage of self-discovery and expression. Each tattoo tells a story, chronicling the myriad experiences and emotions that make up the fabric of our lives. These exquisite illustrations offer a window into the soul, allowing the world a glimpse of the innermost desires and dreams that lie beneath the surface.
And lo, as the needle dances upon the flesh, so too does it breathe life into the lines and curves of the design, imbuing it with the essence of the wearer. For many, this act of transformation is a cathartic experience, a metamorphosis that leads to a profound sense of empowerment and liberation.
The allure of the tattoo transcends the boundaries of culture and class, weaving its enchanting spell over the hearts of aristocrats and commoners alike. This exquisite art form serves as a badge of honour, a testament to one's allegiance and devotion to family, country, or creed. It is a symbol of unity, a reminder of the unbreakable bond that binds us together, despite the tumultuous seas that threaten to tear us apart.
In a world of fleeting trends and transient fashions, the tattoo stands as a steadfast bastion of permanence and commitment. To bear a tattoo is to make a pledge to oneself, an unyielding declaration of one's identity and purpose. It is a symbol of defiance, a rallying cry against the constraints of convention and conformity.
And so, dear reader, as the sun sets upon the verdant hills and the shadows lengthen, we must concede that the appeal of the tattoo is indeed an enigma that cannot be unravelled. For it is a tapestry of infinite complexity, woven from the threads of our dreams and desires, our hopes and fears. To embrace the art of tattooing is to delve into the very depths of our being, to explore the uncharted realms of our soul, and to emerge transformed and transcendent.
Oh bite me!
Ok, first thing first, i do tattooing (as a hobby) but I know a handful of my countries best, I also like an inked girl ha.
go for your ribs, especially along a rib bone, it draws the eye to the ratio between chest/waist and hips, don't get writing, it's so common that it's neither cute nor ugly, it just is what it is, if you are particularly pale then good colours are psychedelic mushroom blue, candy apple red, pink, it's crass but think about the tones of colour of lips and the gentals, they can trigger subconscious attraction. Ha if you want more points just ask ✌️
They're not cute. They're PERMANENT. Don't get a partner's name tattooed until you've been with them 30 years!!! Seriously. I always advise to get a small one in a place no one can see it but yourself or a SO. I have one and after the pain and healing it took, I decided that was it.
I don't know what the current tattoo all over trend is about. I think bare skin with nothing on it is beautiful. PLUS, the time, money and PAIN it takes to endure a neck to foot pattern of tattoos is far beyond me. I have nothing I want to advertise about myself that much, but people have all kinds of reasons to plaster themselves.
Remember, tattoos FADE and blur, if not done well, over time, and skin often sags with age and the tattoo will do the same. The only way to remove them is with a dermatologist who will apply laser therapy. It's incredibly expensive and ALSO painful. Also doesn't work well on dark skin AND leaves scars.
Think hard about how "cute" all this will be down the road. It's not like jewelry or makeup. You can't take it off at the end of the day and change it around.
I plan to get a few of my own. Don’t care for the completely covered look but in moderation I really like them on men (so long as it’s not the lion, rose, clock combo). I don’t agree with getting a partners name tattooed though it screams red flags and poor judgment
Sorry the tattooing partners name thing is kinda sexual to me haha. Like getting it where he chooses
@itsalyssaagain Just make sure he marries you first. Would you really want to be going around the rest of your life with the name of an ex-boyfriend tattooed on your body? Especially one who dumped you?
Definitely not and you’re definitely right
Thanks!

I think they look adorable on a girl, as long as they're not on the face. I used to date a girl that had a butterfly on her foot and a rose around her ankle. Now, someone's name, no. If that person cheats on you, you're screwed, and one thing I've learned, you could be dating the most sophisticated person, sweetest, and most considerate person in the world, but that doesn't mean they're not going to cheat.
I love tattoos on a girl though. I have three of them. One on my left arm and two on my back. A frog, an angel, and a girl playing the guitar (That one's artwork from Hed Kandi records).
Everyone has different opinions on them though. I know one guy who won't date a girl with a tattoo.
Butterflies are the most common ones. If you do decide to get one, get one of something you are into. Please don't get someone's name tattooed. I've seen so many people regret that one. Good luck!
Tattoos are awesome, but do NOT get your partners name tattooed on you, even if you’re 100% sure you’ll be together for the rest of your lives. It just has too much potential for regret. Also, I’d choose the ribcage/back tattoo over the hand. They look amazing, and they probably will wear better over time.
They can look pretty good depending on what they are and where. Sometimes a woman takes it way too far, and puts weird stuff on her tattoos and covers herself in them to the point where it's not cute. Others, like one of my friends who I admire her a lot, will get ones that mean a lot to them, kinda keep it subtle or not very obnoxious, and they look good.
My friend has a cross with the word "grace" on it on the back of her lower neck and wings on her shoulder blades. They look really nice.
So it depends on the individual.
Tattoos I don’t mind unless it’s all over a woman’s body. I’m not big on a bunch of visible tats all over. However, a couple of cute inconspicuous tats where you have to take something off or turn a body part around to see it and is super small is ok.
One big red flag for me is if you get your partners name written on your body. No, I’m not a huge fan of that. If you break up and decide to get another man but you have an ex tatted on your body, that’s a quick way to get dropped. I wouldn’t date or marry someone like that.. even if they wanted to get my name tattooed on there body. I definitely wouldn’t do that for them.
As cute as a pig's eye. I bet guys love clear skin, devoid of cartoons, even more. The female body is beautiful. Why muddy up that beauty with ink? All the people with port wine birth marks would love to have that clear skin that idiots cover up with ink. God! I hate fucking tattoos!
I thought that was haram😂 But religion aside, I kinda dig them yeah. If done right it can be really sexy and give off a rebellious bad girl vibe, which I really like. But some guys might not like it. The name idea is kind of hot actually, just don't get divorced😂 If you get a tattoo, I wanna see
Why not? :(
I was not too sure about it and the majority are saying it’s tacky
So what?
The tattoos on women have been growing on me tbh, I've been seeing women with these sleeves and tribal tattoos on their neck and arms and body and I don't know why but my eyes are like ooooo👀
Hahaaaa
I’m not into tats. If i like someone but found our they had a tattoo before we met, i may try to overlook it, depending on the size, art, and placement. But i wouldn't want someone getting more tattoos while we’re together because its a turnoff
I personally don't like tattoos on a girl's body but if she wants to make a single small one on her shoulder or wrist i might accept but other than this nope 😌
What about on men?
I don't mind, but personslly i don't like tattoos, for example i'd never make one on my body
I see
Women have a lot of nice clothes they can wear. The tattoos seriously clash with the clothes. It doesn't look good at all.
Women can't cover their tattoos in formal settings, unlike men. It looks very trashy at weddings.
It's also a sign of mental problems. Many severely mentally ill individuals cover their bodies in tattoos. Psychiatrists consider it to be a form of self mutilation.
It's not a good look at all
Yes, not all of them but a lot of them Yes. Honestly, I respect anyone with that level of commitment because the thought of having something forever on my body is honestly stressful (What if I stop liking it?). So I admire people that go for it
Partners name is the biggest no-no
in my opinion on girls, anything on her chest or throat is unattractive. Tramp stamps are unattractive. Face tats are unattractive. The only exception to chest and some face tats are if she is covered head to toe in tattoos but they have to look good. Tramp stamps are never okay in any situation in my opinion
Stay away from the name... my girlfriend and I got symbols instead of names, which is kinda better. The problem is the symbol we picked were Playboy bunnies, so in some ways it's worse explaining it.
ohh what you gonna get? butterfly? hearts? lol something cute? :P
Something personal but not sure yet! Definitely a small one
i say go for it. f the haters on here lol.
Haha I’m undecided! On the one hand it sounds cool but on the other it might be tacky
Yes I absolutely love tattoos on girls... Interesting idea about your partner's name though 🤣😜
Haha finally someone gets it!!!
You’re joking!!!
Loool okay
I like noticeable tattoos quite a lot on women, but I also get red flags by it. It makes me wonder if she is impulsive or if she genuinely took her time with her sleeves.
No def not cute! I think they are trashy looking and a major turn off.
I have never seen a girl who became more attractive because she got a tattoo, but I have seen many girls who were far less attractive because of their tattoos.
RESPONSE TO UPDATE: One day, you wll think back on this moment and be glad about the decision you made.
If they’re well done by professionals and not in the back of some dodgy persons shed, yeah they can be cute. I have many tattoos myself, and I think people with quality tattoos are attractive.
TBH, I don't like tattoos... the human body is beautiful as it is
Could you please help me. I called this girl and it is not like I always call her. We were talking on phone after one month. I got her number from her.
She is usually a very sweet person. But kn phone she sounded v rude. She said to me “why did you call me”. Furthermore she went on to say “ I have a boyfriend and I am very happy “
I was not asking her whether she was single, so I was shocked with this. In shock I slowly told her “I didn't ask for a date, I just needed some information (regarding school)” . She heard me and she said to me “what?”
So I repeated it again for her. Then she asked what information and without even telling me handed the phone to a guy.
Why would she randomly over my call to a guy?
If she is so annoyed by me she could just tell me to not call her.
No. Tattoos on women always make them look WORSE, never good.
I think when people get a bunch of little tattoos that aren’t related in any way all over their body it’s pretty tacky, but I love a full sleeve for example
This is just my opinion, but tattoos are trashy. Do you want to see beautiful skin or the funny pages of your newspaper?
I am not a fan and consider them another horrible waste of money and in many cases are totally hideous.
i only like small, clean, line art tattoos, at least for women. guys are a whole different story
I love tattoos, but I'm not a fan of the ones where someone is completely covered in them. Just a few here and there.
I think tattoos are stupid and a mistake, especially names of lovers 🤦♂️
That being said, yeah I think they're hot. In moderation
Tattoos are trashy and will make you look cheap.
A small one would be ok but when you start getting bigger ones or more it looks tacky. I don't recommend getting boyfriends or girlfriends names tattooed on you. If you break up you'll have to get Lazer removal
I find them cute and hot, also depends what it is.. I don't like full sleeve arm tattoos on women.. especially after it fades out doesn't look good in my opinion. I have seen some amazing tattoos on women though.
No, a woman bearing tattoo may be cute but tattoo it self 🤪
Thanks for like!
Thanks for likes!
You’re welcome
A small one someplace is cute. The whole sleeve and neck tattoos are not.
Personally I do not find tattoo's 'cute', I've had to deal with too many of them going wrong on family and work mates, and saline washes hurt like the devil when you try to clean them up.
I think they're absolutely hideous, trashy and stupid.
I’ve got 30+ if you want them then do it. I have my kids dads name, don’t recommend that bullshit
No. Meanwhile is being tattoo free an act of steadfastness against social and peer pressure.
A cute design makes for a cute tattoo.
I guess it depends on the tattoo but no, not cute. More of sexy is what comes to mind for me
blech to all tatoos. make it removable.
not gonna improve anything...
I was thinking the same thing. Possibly the Metis flag just below the color line on my back.
It’s one of those ideas that seems great on paper. Many tattoos I’ve seen are quite cute/beautiful in design, but I still wouldn’t want them permanently on my partner’s body.
depends on the tattoo, some are cool some are not. Have to see it to know.
With technology today you could aways take a pic of yourself and photoshop one one there and see how it looks
Hayır, bence hiç güzel değiller, birçok dövmeci bu işi beceremiyor. Bence dövme dediğimiz sanat itina ile yapıldığı sürece güzel
I like them. It's your body, do whatever you want with it.
Im not into tats but Its up to you as to what you do with your body and why.. tats for me no thanks..
They definitely can be, as long as they're not overdone.
If there was a book full of tattoos in front of me I’d look at all of them. There just really cool to look at
Yes but now a days there is no rhyme or reason just “sailor tattoos “. That’s not a turn on
I believe girls with tattoos are 304's.
High value men don't want women with tattoos. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DmHM3b82jio&t=73s
That’s a bit weird isn’t it?
Of not not. High value men want high value women and most high value women don't have tattoos. Other than women athletes (typically black women athletes) very few college girls at ivy league and other elite colleges have tattoos. Wives of senators almost never have any tattoos. Many single mothers and women on welfare do have tattoos.
I don’t see what correlation there is between being a high value women and having a tattoo.
Then you are not looking at who has tattoos and who doesn't. Certainly, there are exceptions but typically the higher the class the fewer the tattoos. You don't see many high fashion models with tattoos. You are not likely to see first ladies with tattoos. Usually girls attending Harvard and other ivy league colleges don't have tattoos. Most movie stars playing the part of the girl next door don't have tattoo. The movie stars that do, usually play the part of other characters.
Blacks women on welfare have lots of tattoos and most blacks, even if they are athletes and have money are not what I would describe as classy. Hoes have tattoos.
Well I’m not racist nor do I stereotype
Just my opinion, no, it's a red flag of mine.
LOL. My entire crotch is tattoed
Welllll that was unexpected haha
Nope Im not into tattoos because its temporary that you like it.
I think tattooed girls are hot, especially full sleeves, back piece or even a body suit.
👎. It's hella tacky.
No, natural skin is the best.
I don't like tattoos
I think they’re very cute.
Sure! If it’s a nice one yeah it can be
Some are. It depends a lot on the design.
Is it allowed in your religion?
Sure
