My boyfriend doesn't want me to post on social media, dress nicely and wear make up because my style is not normal?

He doesn't want me to post neither my face nor outfits on social media and gets annoyed whenever I am dressed nicely whenever we are outside because ''other men are seeing me'' as well? Same about social media, he said he is not comfortable with guys seeing me in my nice outfits. I have stopped posting on social media to help him with that but then he started telling em how its also annoying him whenever I get dressed for outside since my wardrobe consists of only skirts and alternative clothes, think goth or pink/white. What to do :c

What do you do? You dump him unless you want him controlling the rest of your life. Not only is he controlling he also shows signs of major insecurities. Anyone that is that worried about their girl dressing nicely and wearing makeup is insecure. Unless you are happy with him controlling your life then give him an ultimatum that either he knocks off the controlling behavior or you are done with him.

I do think the same way yet whenever I confront him about the posting issue, he asks me if posting is sooo important to me that I really need to do it. Yet its not about posting something but its about having the right to do my own decision without feeling bad that he is going to get upset with me.. He doesn't understand that part.

@natedawg0620 Thanks! Yeah that is no good. I don't care if it is the guy or the girl doing it. Being controlling is not okay. It also is typically a sign of insecurities. I have never had it happen to me thankfully and never done it to any partner I have had. I like that my boyfriend or girlfriend at the time has a social life. We all should.

Well first of all, we spoke about posting, at first he wasn't comfortable with some types of pictures. Then I told him I won't do them, then he wasn't fine with other things etc. It's always another reason. On your take that I surely own modest clothes. The answer is literally no. I own 2 pairs of jeans and I wear them to work. Everything else are skirts and dresses. And on your take about ''these are the rules'', what rules are you talking about? I think each relationship has it's own rules, but some things aren't rules because beside the relationship, there is authority over ones own body. I told him its no problem for me if he did post as well. But thank you for sharing your opinion even if its different than my own!
