What are some things that u think look pretty? I haven’t gone to the beach in a long time but a friend I haven’t seen in a long time wants to go with me next weekend and the ones I have now are too small bc they’re from when i was like 11 and now I’m 17 turning 18.

I can give you a list of what I like and wear but in the end it's you who wants to wear it so best you can do is browse through some popular stores and go by your feeling.

I'm terms of colours and patterns that is totally subjective and up to you. For the cut you need to think about what is important to you. Depending on your confidence, where you live and how important tan lines are for you, you might want to choose something with more or less coverage. Also some are more practical than others, like I love strappy bikinis but some of them can be a bit of a pain to put on. Also if you plan to swim and not just sunbath you might want to choose something that fits a bit more tightly
