All my shorts are this length

My lesbian peers have been pressuring me for a while now, absolutely insisting that I wear longer shorts that "at least fully cover my kneecaps or longer because shorts above the knee are just too feminine for a lesbian woman."

And like... just wow. I never thought I'd see the day where my shorts were considered "too short." I've been wearing shorts this length my whole life, and they were always considered "very long women's shorts." Among-st my straight female peers they still are, actually. However, among-st my lesbian peers they are definitely noticeably shorter, as their shorts all go below their knees while mine go above.

In general though lesbian women do feel more comfortable expressing their masculine side than straight women though. They're already breaking one norm by not being straight, so why not go even further and explore their masculine side further too?

I think the same applies to gay men being more comfortable expressing their feminine side than straight men.

Pretty much, haha. It's also why a lot of lesbians wear their hair short, dye their hair, have tattoos, having piercings, etc... since they've already broken one social norm, it becomes easier to break more and more.

Well not necessarily. Lesbian women may be more open to wearing long shorts, but that doesn't mean they can't wear short shorts. Same goes for short hair, colorful hair, tattoos, piercings, etc. Lesbians are more open to that stuff, but that doesn't mean they can't have long hair, natural colored hair, no tattoos, no piercings, etc.

In general like any other group of people lesbians can do whatever they want, they just tend to experiment more than straight women. But there's more than one way to be a lesbian.

Thanks, haha. Hearing that makes me happy. I'm biased, but I think they're the perfect length too, lol. Any shorter would be too short, any longer would be too long.

They're short enough to show some skin and make me feel cooler, but also long enough to keep my upper legs from being sunburned and to have decent sized pockets. :)

And ah... I don't really keep up with anything, so I actually didn't know who you were talking about before Googling, but I'm glad I have a music recommendation to listen to now. She does seem interesting. ^_^
