Examples:
1. There are all types of uniform rules that often prohibit students from attending class if they are violated
2. Many religious establishments have strict dress codes that they do not allow to be broken if you want to enter or even be a part of their religion
3. Some jobs will not allow you to work if you do not wear a uniform or the company dress code
4. Many restaurants will refuse service if you aren't dressed fancy

yes... if it is pertinent and if it makes sense to a point, some particular places should have a dress code
schools for example... and I do say this because some people do certainly dress for controversy, and to shock and to confront too

Yeah, I went to a Buddhist temple on a trip to Singapore and wore a shawl to fit their customs. Clothing is a lot more than just a series of fabrics, they show wealth, modesty, formality, respect, and can often be regulated for one's own safety. I mean, there's a reason why people on building sites have hard-hats and high visibility shirts
A bigger question is how much of a shithole does an area need to be where that sign is needed?
But yes I do think places should be allowed to refuse entry based on a reasonable dress code policy because it keeps the wrong sort of people out.
Absolutely as a society people have become far to comfortable dressing trashy or just poorly in general and limiting access is a fantastic way to get that habit to stop

In extremes, like currently. But private property (most places) should have the right to kick people out. Luckily they’re most likely in it for your money.
But indecent exposure laws seem like enough legally. For business you dress like the salary you want.I have no problem with private establishments having dress codes. I have a big problem with the dress codes of a lot of public schools.
Sometimes, however you should be able to dress the way you are comfortable in. One major difference is bare feet and and no top should be prohibited in most place
I agree with you. I think it’s crazy. But apparently it was worse back in our grandparents time.
Absolutely. Basic decorum is a reasonable expectation.
It's an interesting idea
