Men, what are some of the cosmetic procedures that women get, that you absolutely hate?

In a way like, do you get turned off by the sight of fillers or breast implants or butt lift procedures. What goes through your minds when you see such things? Feel absolutely free to say whatever you feel like. I want brutally honest answers. If there are many things you would like to add, feel free to do so..

Women are also absolutely welcome to add their opinions. I would love to hear all perspectives.

- Lip fillers: I just think it looks fake and bad. It gives me a bad image of that person immediately.

- Nose jobs: in Kpop a lot of idols get nose jobs and then they just look very generic and it doesn't look real I don't know it looks like they're off a assembly line. All their nose bridges look identical because of the plastic piece they put inside you see it immediately. I personally think their natural noses that stand out less are beautiful but they're obsessed with having pointy noses. Honestly I feel sadness and pity when someone who had a beautiful and unique face does this to themselves. It just shows lack of self love and confidence.

- Botox: I just think it's insane to put venom into your face for such a stupid reason. I think wrinkles make people look more sympathetic and like they lived a good life when they get older. Having a motionless face it's just weird to me one of the weirdest trends ever in my opinion. The fact that it caught on and has been popular for decades is mind blowing to me.

They also do their eyes but that doesn't bother me that much. As long as they don't cut the corners of their eyes (to have bigger eyes) so much that it looks painful just to see their face. But just getting eyelid surgery idc about that.

- Jaw surgery: This one is definitely one of the worst ones. It can be life threatening I think and it's so bad. But I think it's not common with women there are some male idols who did it and it makes me feel bad.

Other surgeries are bad too but these are the ones I've seen on people in the media that I watch or people I know etc. In Europe butts and boobs aren't that big of a thing that people get done at least I've never been around people who did and also not in media that I watch.

Wow, this was thorough and insightful. don't you think the women who get these procedures are confirming to the societal expectations of beauty in a way? What are your thoughts on it?

Yes they are of course. I think Korea really has a very strict idea of what you're supposed to be like as a person. What's good and what's bad, not just when it comes to beauty but other things too.

And of course idols it's their job to be good looking so they feel it the most. The beauty standard in Korea says a higher nose gives you a more 3 dimensional face and it's more beautiful. Because Asian people tend to have more flat noses so there's a lot of nose jobs. It's so common now that it almost seems pointless. Years ago there was a little push back where all the women in a beauty contest looked very similar and some people said they're tired of this look. But it was very short lived. I think it has just become so normal now people just see it as part of life. If you have the money you do the surgery and that's it, there's no other considerations.

In Switzerland I don't see many women with plastic surgery thankfully. I think it's because individuality is more valued in western culture than in Asia. So I can't even say much about plastic surgery in Europe. I'm sure there are some people who get it but it's not as visible club girls and women who go after rich men some of them might get it but they'r a pretty small part of society.

Turned off by every single bit of it. Only time I'd accept anything is if she was mauled by dogs and had to get surgeries. Or suffered burns all over her face. Otherwise it looks ridiculous, especially lip fillers and botox. I literally laugh out loud when I see girls walking around with lip fillers. It's so noticeable and atrocious.

I don't think it's pretty when a girl gets cosmetics to make her bottom lip look bigger. Big lips are not bad looking but when you have a face that was designed to house a small lip and you have a big lip, you look genetically incompatible with your native DNA and that makes you seem sterile and less fertile then somebody who has natural physical features.

I like when a women is happy with he body the way it is. Not keen on breast augmentation. As long as they are sensitive and she likes them being touched, then its all good no matter the size.

Proportion to your natural beauty! I don’t mind you undergoing cosmetic procedures if that is needed to boost self-confidence, however, don’t go extensive by transforming your face or body. For me duck-lips are a turn off so is too big boobs or butt lifts are. I just don’t see the beauty, but that’s just me.

I feel butt lifts are the most unnecessary ones, cause butt can be achieved with rigorous gym training.
