Do you believe people who have had plastic surgery for medical reasons are less likely to be judged than people who did it for beautician reasons?

I know a girl who got surgery because she was born with a cleft lip. While this surgery did improve her physical appearance the surgery was still mainly for medical reasons. A cleft lip can cause people physical pain, trouble speaking and trouble eating.

There are some people who might get plastic surgery like rhinoplasty just because they didn’t like the shape of their nose but there nose caused them no difficulty breathing.
