That looks nice congratulations on having good taste in that sort of thing. Marble needs to be sealed if you are going to use it around any liquid. The top one has more black in it and would probably hide stains well. Keep some marble cleaner handy so it don't stain or get dull with age. You won't want to use a sharp knife on that so to a lumber wood store that specializes in hard woods like maple, oak etc. Not opine and certainly not plywood. It may coast you about $100 bur if you can get someone to cit you a plank of maple about 18" x 10" x 2"deep it will be attractive enough to leave out on counter top as it also is attractive in it's own right. Unfortunately I don't know that much about wood but if ebony is not priced well out of the ballpark, the natural blackness of the wood might look great- I assume ebony is back throughout, $200 seems like a lot of $ for a cutting board but it will last forever & it won't look like junk like plastic cutting boards. If they haven't yet started on the counter they could probably source and install wood flush with the top which would look tres luxe
I like B better but both look nicere-state//background_color_rgba (0, 0, 0, 0), font_color_rgb (77, 77, 77), justifyLeft
Choosing a marble top for your kitchen is exciting! Consider the overall vibe you want. White Carrara marble is classic and elegant, while Calacatta offers bold, dramatic veining for an eye-catching look. If you're into a softer, warmer feel, Crema Marfil could be a great choice. Think about maintenance too, as lighter marbles may show stains more easily. Whatever you pick, it'll add a touch of luxury to your space. 😊
