My brother is working on building up his sleeve. So far he started out with a LOT of research on the concept, style, and artist. Make sure you have a general idea or goal in mind of what you want in your sleeve. Whether you want it colored, black and grey, blackwork, new school, traditional, etc. Then look for an artist that can bring your vision to life. Discuss with them what your concept is, the plan, your budget, etc.
Then also consider the logistics. How many hours do you think you can handle per session? How many sessions do you want it to be broken down into? How many much are you willing to spend per session? Do they charge by piece or by hour?

1 yI guess just make sure you know what you want, plan it out, do a good deal of research, and save some money, and prepare for the long haul since they take some time.. Make sure you know you actually want it as well..

Starting a sleeve is exciting! First, choose a theme or story you want it to represent. Find an experienced artist whose style resonates with your vision. Schedule a consultation to discuss your ideas and placement. Think about how the designs will flow together on your arm. Start with a smaller piece and build gradually, allowing time for healing. Keep in mind the colors and details that will complement each other. Remember, it’s a commitment, so be sure it’s something you’ll love for years to come! 🖤

I have 4 tattoos and none of them are great quality, but they ALL have meaning to me and that is far more important than the artwork itself.

1 yask them before getting the tattoo so you know FOR SURE instead of second guessing anything we tell you lol
just be prepared for long sessions, eat before hand, don't shave (they will if they need to), and just communicate with them. you CAN take breaks and don't get cheap awful tattoos11 Reply- 1 y
Gotcha yeah I meant more before and after care… I know I can ask the artist about that but I wanted to see if people found certain products that worked out well for them
3.1K opinions shared on Fashion & Beauty topic. My tip would be to seriously consider never getting any tattoos in the first place... Sorry.

Just make sure it’s something you can live with the rest of your life , something that isn’t going to make you kick yourself in the ass for further down the road , I have 2 tatts now that I am happy with that I had for quite sometime now , so as long as you get something you will appreciate for the long haul , then go for it

1 yTattoo is about what you like to do, not about people opinions. Do the tattoo base on what you Like to, or ask the artist to make the design from your story. That’s how some tattoos have meanings behind them.

Some artists put dermshield on the tattoo, since it’s on the sleeve cover your arm, don’t expose to direct sunlight. My artist never add any 2nd skin or dermshield, so usually i only put moisturizer or petroleum jelly and sunscreen in the day.
Anonymous(30-35)1 yMy tip is to not do it. You'll be significantly limiting yourself in terms of men who will be interested in you, and you'll be branding yourself as low class on a part of your body that will be hard to hide when you reach the age when you begin to feel the inevitable regret that plagues people with tattoos.

I have a lot of tattoos and still got plenty men who interested to me and waiting for me to be single. - 1 y
If you get something you like I don’t see why you’d regret it… also I don’t base myself off of what men like/prefer. The right person will like me….
Opinion Owner1 yWait for it. You're only 29.
Tattoo regret is a thing. Google it.

High quality women do not get tattoos.
10 Reply 521 opinions shared on Fashion & Beauty topic. My advice would be not to get one. Especially one that can not be covered with normal clothing. Some employers would not hire you. If covered with tattoos.
20 Reply1.3K opinions shared on Fashion & Beauty topic. Do your research on artists. Don't go with someone just because they are local or cheap. You are stuck with it for the rest of your life so find someone capable of doing what you want how you want it
10 ReplyBe willing to sit still for LONG periods of time and make sure you are certain of the design
10 Reply2.6K opinions shared on Fashion & Beauty topic. how about dont do it. They look hideous for one thing. Also when you cover large areas of your body with ink, some of that ink leaches into your body, with toxic consequences.
00 Reply647 opinions shared on Fashion & Beauty topic. Think about it for a good long while. Then think about it for like 6 a year more. When you're old and you look at your arm, do you want to think "I'm glad I got this tattoo" or "why did I get this stupid shit on my arm?"?
01 ReplyMake sure it's not toxic stuff and is clean
10 ReplyPersonally I think sleeve tattoos and any high coverage tattoos on a women ruin her looks and natural beauty.

1 yPeople just get individual tattoos then bring them all together with clouds, rose vines or waves. Unless you have a large piece in mind that is one tattoo and not a collage
