You're 5 years too late buddy. Feminism made sure that anything a man does can be considered as harassment, sexism, or rape. Welcome to the 21st century.

No, let's give women what they want and define approaching a girl as "sexual harassment"
So that no guys will approach them and the number of girls with boyfriends will decrease... It's what they want... I don't think they want boyfriends

Women who act like it's some violation for a male to show interest should end up alone, desperate, pathetic, frigid, and sad because they are the worst people to exist on our planet.

it's called harassment because your advances warrant a response despite the recipient's consent to engage in a social acitivity with you

Nope. A first attempt at conversation can't by definition BE harassment.

It can't be harassment unless it's repeated after you let them know it's unwanted.

      @Sixgun77 Disagree.
synonyms of harassment: persecution, harrying, pestering, badgering, intimidation, bother, annoyance

I consider an individual that pesters, bothers or annoys me by starting an unwanted and unilateral conversation as a disturbance, an intrusion, a molestation, a perturbation of my private sphere.

Again, the purpose of the unilateral contact in this take is to flirt, as stated under Approach B. You know just as well as I do that the ultimate goal of a flirt is to have sexual relations and not just to talk about the current weather.

Thus, in this context, approaching a woman with the purpose of unilateral flirting IS sexual harassment.

No, it is not. You need to understand that for it to be harassment you have to tell them that it's unwanted once they try to talk to you and for them to then persist anyway.

@lord_chilled You omitted the letter "i" in bitch and the third person of the verb "to be" is IS and not OS and harassment is spelled exactly the way I did and not the way you did.

And then you wonder why girls reject you when being approached by individuals with such a low IQ like yours?

I think you chill way too much!

@TarrAva its called a spell error.
And i guarantee you that if we took an iq test together, i would be at least 20 points ahead of you.
I doubt that you would even reach triple digits.

After all, sheep are never that smart.

Amd also, dont you mean harrassed by me?
I thought you believed approaching to be harrassing.

Logical consistency is important if you want to prove a point.

I don't know about anyone else but catcalling is not perverted and it's not lazy or a way to get attention. It's merely a way to let someone know that you think they're attractive or at least that you like what they're wearing or like their snazzy new haircut. In the pre-PC world, whistling at a girl was something she looked forward to and she KNEW that it meant that SOMEONE found her attractive and she'd actually seek out the guy that whistled at her in hopes that he might be someone she liked, too. I've seen it happen LOTS of times! It's today's PC culture that has turned a simple compliment into a perverse act worthy of potential jail time!! The more you demonize something the more demonic it becomes and the more demonic the person doing it feels! Also in pre-PC eras, women were known to whistle at guys they thought were sexy or good looking. I used to have flocks of girls chase me through school all the time like I was a Beatle! If they caught me, they'd be all over me smothering me with kisses! That wasn't anymore sexual harassment than my whistling at one of them. back then, a guy could walk up to a girl and ask her out or if he could carry her books for her and she'd be pleased to have been asked. Today, he's more likely to be belittled for thinking she's too weak to carry her own books or tying to hit on her or he'd be a creep, a pervert or a male chauvinist! DO get over yourselves!! A girl trying to ask you out is JUST a guy trying to ask you out!! Today, if a guy so much as smiles at you or says hello to you in passing, you've already got an entire rape scenario with him playing out in your head! THAT'S sexual harassment!!

That's what I consider catcalling to be. Men who do is seem to have this naive notion that they don't need to put in effort to meet a woman, they can just stand at the side of the street and throw out some wolf whistles and the women will magically be drawn to them.

Whether we're talking about today or many years ago, a woman who instantly dropped what she was doing to run after a man who randomly did nothing but whistle at her would have been labelled a slut.

Well, it actually USED to work like that but that's not why I do it, it's just my way of saying they look nice or that I'd be interested. No matter what I do, chances are I'll get shot down so, it's not like I'm gonna bother TRYING to meet up with one. They only want assholes, anyway, not nice guys like me.

Not the ones I've seen! They went after him because just let her know he was interested in her by whistling at her.

We live in a retarded society. If men stop approaching women, relationships and marriages will ceise to exist, which is the ultimate goal and the reason why it was voted sexual harassment in the first place

    In real world:
if you're hot and approach woman you're seen as confident guy
if you're not hot and approach woman you're seen as creep

    It's really that simple.

Sometimes, things are crazy these days. I mean approaching a women like a normal person has nothing wrong with it. If it is the case that there is something wrong, should we not approach anybody else out of fear of harassing them.
