1st why are you complimenting her more than once? Hell 1 time is the limit almost. After that, you're either going to be put in the so-called "FRIENDZONE" or "CREEPzone" LOL. So If she hasn't already tried to get with you (BF-GF) it's a good chance that it's because of those 2 said reasons. If I were you I would just stop/save your face while ya can LOL.

No not at all! In fact it should be that way rather than saying "aw thank you but I don't think I am.." Girls who accept compliments and actually say thank you tend to be the girls who are more confident with themselves and sure of themselves
What kind of response was you hoping for if you complimented her? :L "Thank you" is he decent thing to say, i could understand it bothering you if she ignored your compliment or said something blunt back but she said thanks?
My husband and I have been together over 2 years and he compliments me a lot, I have always said thank you every time and will continue to do so. It's called manners.
