The Art of Teasing for Dummies! (Like me!)

I have TOTALLY missed the boat when it comes to the joy of teasing and am just now learning that it's freaking FUN to banter back and forth with guys! It builds friendships fast and I enjoy that.

I need some teasing rules & tips, though. Here is what I know so far:

• It's best to tease a guy about something he's confident in. For example, it would be playful to tell a tall 6'4" guy "Oh, you're way to short to reach that high *wink*" and devastating to say that to a short 4'11" guy.

• Following a playful, teasing comment with a smile and a little complement is a great way to make a guy (or girl!) melt. ie saying to a guy in a pink shirt: I think you have more pink in your closet than I do! *smile and duck head bashfully* "But you do look really good in pink...I'm so glad we can share outfits! I have the perfect accessories to match that!"

What are some other rules, ideas, tips & techniques that you use? Can you put it in to words or give me examples?

What about teasing a guy who you know likes you? I already know to be tender with his feelings. What are some good teasing topics that get him to loosen up and joke around?

At first I thought you meant like teasing teasing like girls do. Haha. No that really is fun. Guys really do like it too. One thing you could do is something that he talks about how great he is at it, just be like "yeah you are good. too bad I can beat you." or something. its gives the guy a laugh and makes him competitive side start comin out which will be fun for you to watch too =)

LOL! Yes, I meant the FUN kind of teasing guys seem born knowing how to do that is a riot to join in on!

Come on, keep the phrases coming. I learn from each one. Above: call him out on his confidence & get him being competitive so he'll want to show me what he can do to impress me while also enjoying the attention he's getting from me. Got it!

Yup. Pretty much. Lol. That works well. Let's see, what else....

Try not to talk about muscles too much. If you pick on a guy saying his muscles are small, you may not get the fun laugh you want from it. Sounding sarcastic and saying his muscles are "SOOO huge" can work. Just laugh afterwords like you said. Big muscle jokes are good. Small muscle jokes are more upsetting

Yes - appearances are fairly off-limits for both sexes. I'm tall with a healthy BMI (lean) and I still think I'm fat. *eyeroll* Wish I could get over it. I totally understand how guys would want us to lay off the muscles. Funny, it's broad shoulders - not biceps - that I adore. But biceps are a close second or third. Not ripped ones, just existent ones. ;)

Is it rude to tease a muscled but not cut guy? Will it offend him?
