My crush is transferring to another college, what should I do?

a year ago i started college and there was a boy from another city whom almost every girl wanted to date but i didn't make any effort
he wasn't really social and didn't pay attention to them. all of a sudden he started talking to me on random topics and now we text each other every day. we are NOT dating. he s the only boy i talk to this much and so am i for him
maybe its just friendship but I've seen so many signs
studying here is really hard fo him and now he is transferring. i feel sad i don't know whether to stop talking to him in order to stop myself from falling for him more,
OR i should just hope for something magical to happen and stop him from going?

You got to pick up the pace with this.
Let him know how you feel and that you want to date him.
That way he will make time to see you when he transfers.
