If a girl says awww in a text message, have you been friendzoned?

This girl I've been getting to know over the past few months has been touchy with me, rubbing my hands, rubbing my head when I had just got a haircut and mentioned my haircut to me. About a month ago I invited her out to eat with some friends and mentioned to her by text she can bring someone along if she wants. She replied saying you are already coming with a smiley face emoji. We do text on occasion and I usually invite her out to things I do. Recenlty I was texting her at night and said at the end get a good sleep and I hope you have sweet dreams. She replies saying aww you too good night. The second time was yesterday I was saying I would treat her to dinner and it would be on me. She replies saying awww okay thank you with a smiley face. I know it is something so minor, but does her use of saying awww put me toward the friendzoned category? She seemed to like me, have a crush on me up to this point. I am really starting to like her and wanted to kind of step up my game first with the texting to show her I care about her. I just want to know do I need to be worried about her using the term awww?

know what that means. It means she likes you, but really needs the chance to get to know you even better. But be aware! These are the types of girls that just want a boyfriend and would abandon your interest quite quickly if another guy were to be more forward with her, or be more popular. The way she's being sweet to you, does not mean that you're friendzoned at all. But it does mean you need to be a bit more strict towards her. Set some boundries to show her that you definitely don't want to be friendzoned. You need to capture these types of girls really fast, before another guy does

It's hard to say. I say 'awww' to everyone. Parents, friends, past partners, people I'm in love with, but I also say it to people I've friend zoned. But taking into account her previous behavior I would say not to worry (however, a word of advice, try looking how to behaves around other guys because some girls are just naturally flirty even if they're not interested. If she treats only you like that then I would say she's probably into you but if you notice her treating other guys like this then she just may be a naturally flirtatious person).

I would say she thinks its cute, and she does like you from my perspective, you might be overthinking it but a lot of girls are different, i would say she finds it cute and endearing :3 just keep it up and dont worry about it too much, i say awww a lot to my boyfriend its just my way of telling him i thought whatever it was that he did/said was cute

By that she meant that you would be the one she would want to take out for dinner!!

The fact that she used "awww" later in the conversation means she found it NICE of you, it impressed her, she felt valued...
girls are really emotional and have a wide range of good positive feelings, but they usually express them all with "awwww.." ...

anyway next time leave the friends at home and invite just her for lunch/dinner

Thanks. Yeah I invited her out again today but this time it is probably just going to be her sister tagging along. Next time it will be just me and her. She said by text "of course she will be there." She has replied like that two times before like she definitely will be there. We're going out in about a week. I really like her not only physically but her personality as well. What I picked up from that text was that she was hinting that she likes me and wants me to take her out on a date. I just feel that from the outside she doesn't seem very friendly but for some reason with me the wall she puts up just melts and she totally changes. Even when she is not in a good mood she will put a smile on for me. In the beginning she got mad at me yelling my name when I didn't say hi to her walking by. I walked over said hi to her and she started smiling.

Forgot to answer your comment. Based on personal experience she def likes you. She might have a doubt on whether you like her back or not. Again i am saying this based on pers experience with a girl at uni.
She would sometimes simply say my name and look at me, staring. I would simply go "yes?". She would shrug her shoulders and smile. That kind of warm smile that would melt your heart. You know better :)
Anyway, i soon realized that she was not actually aware that i like her as well. So she would do these things once in a while, like calling my name out of the blue or staring at me... Because she wanted something from me, a sign to hamg on to...
So for future dinner (s), don't tell her to bring someone if she wants... She might take it as you being just friendly with her "why the hell is he telling me to bring someone? Is he not interested?".
But maybe my advice is no longer needed :D how did it go at the dinner? Any progress?

If anything I'd say her saying Awww puts you more in the crush category. My girlfriend used to say aww to me all the time. Never had a friend do that

Haha no of course not. I mean, it varies from girl to girl-but for me at least that does not mean that I've friendzoned a boy. You've liked her for a long time right? Make a move in her. An actual one. Ask her out or something, and make sure she knows it's a date. I'm sure she likes you.

I think that will depend on the girl, it's difficult to say what it means exactly. Friendzone is a possibility but that may not be true also.
