it's a coping mechanism, and you're right it is immature. I personally am upset when rejected, but I move on. only time it turns negative is when she attempts to be friends with me.. I don't do friend zone, if I'm interested in one but offered the other, I just move on, cut contact. but im never mean, that's just not right, there is no reason for it.
Depends, some guys are jerks who were just acting while others may have felt bad because you friendzoned them. Try doing the same to guys, then you will know. It takes maturity to accept rejection, but some are think its unmanly, while manliness lies in acting responsible and mature. If my sister rejected someone I would want to him to take it like an adult, but if she was harsh I would have a talk with her.
This is the moment where you get to know who he truly is - a bitter meany. Whereas men with class just move on in peace. Don't worry, if this happens, be thankful, that you have just dodged a bullet. It's good for you!!!
This behavior tells a lot about themselves! Take note of it.
Same with women, who get upset about rejection. The good women don't make a big deal out of it.
But never did i say, that rejections do not hurt.
Is rooted in our DNA.
The entire practical purpose of life is reproduction.
If a man is rejected by every woman, his punishment is extinction.
Subconsciously, that wreaks havoc on a man's psyche. Then those feelings can manifest in conscious disdain for the women who reject him: in the irrational hope that it will minimize those women's influence in the world, thereby increasing his chances of reproducing.
I'm never rude to a girl just for rejecting me, but I might be depending in how she rejected me. If she left it open ended to give me false hope, or if she was really mean about it, or if she said yes but was a no show, then yeah I'm not gonna be nice to her.
Guys are told to take the lead and put women on pedestals. We make far more effort than women to advertise, then we have to wait for a response. If women had to do that, they would not be talking this "butt hurt ego" shit. If you lose nothing that you invest, then it's no big deal. When you put yourself out there financially and otherwise, the pain is much greater.
Rejection hurts, regardless of gender. It is an inappropriate reaction to being rejected (an expression of anger and pain). They just haven't learned to take "no" for an answer, which is part of the whole immaturity issue.
There are a lot of women who get just as angry. After my divorce every guy I went out with had a crazy ex story.
This question should include both genders , because females and males are equally the same in this situation. People who are bitter , are just always bitter... bottom line. Those who are respectfull and confident , never express such undesired tantrums. This is also meant for the person who's being asked too. Two way street.
Probably similar to how good emotions can turn to bad ones in the blink of an eye; like someone will bouncing around really excited for something, lets say a concert, but when told that they can't go to the concert, they instantly become frustrated or angry
well I have to be sincere I just broke up with a girl and well it left me a very nasty taste because of the fact I gave everything and then I realized it doesn't matter how much you give out if the other person doesn't appreciate it, so most guys start being douch bags because they know that if they give everything and it happens again they will get hurt again so they prefer to be insensitive so that the situation doesn't repeat itself
I have noticed that girls can't take rejection easily. (is this sentence correct? Sorry I am not a native English speaker)
They are very smart in hiding it. 😊
Imagine you had trouble finding a girl and finally you found one you thought you had a chance with only for her to shoot you down and not even give a shit that she hurt you because she being a girl can get a guy anytime she wants so she doesn't understand the struggle for men
I understand but the one who gets mean doesn't deserve you. It just makes girl sure that she made a good choice to reject that bitter and mean person.
If you were in the guys position I doubt you would be happy about being rejected girls aren't used to rejection
How about a girl who genuinely already has a boyfriend. Why did she deserve to get treated in a bad way?
I had the same thing and I think it's bc he's afraid the relationship is ruined so they just cut it off
Most men aren't open about how they feel. When they do open up and feel the slightest bit of rejection lash out. I think men express emotions very rarely.
i think it depends on the person, the ones who "lash out" are the ones who try to act stoic and hide every little emotion from others
Yeah. That's so irritating when they do. They're so closed minded and aren't willing to see past their ego. It's not always black and white with woman.
i think the guys that tend to lash out tend to see themselves as "players / gods gift to women" which makes rejection a bit of a reality check which they are not used to.
dont get me wrong i dont think its a binary issue there is most likely a spectrum but this is only what i have personally witnessed.
that said people are people and everyone is different to an extent.
I totally agree with you. It's always messy. The guys that see themselves as you described I think will find the right girl and eventually change. Or not.
For me personally. I have to know why. If its logic reason then i will accept it. Because when i dont know. I will overthink about it. Maybe i am ugly. Maybe i am dumb. Maybe i am poor. Or else. Then i judge "this girl only likes handsome guys". Then come this "i hate people who likes a person only from his appearance". Then.. Yes i hate this girl...
I apprectiate when a woman tells me no and doesn't dance around the word, usually women ghost on men and never give a reason or even say anything so we are left handing.
plus some show a lot of interest in you then when you approach they suddenly pull away, what is that all about?
many reasons men become assholes and sometimes rightfully, even though sometimes we just shrug it off and move on no need to make a scene everytime
Not every guy can handle rejection, I guess.. But it's immature to get angry at that. I mean, it's better to be rejected at the beginning than to be in a relationship with someone that wasn't even interested from the start..
I don't think anybody feels good after being rejected. talking from experience I seen girls become very hostile and violent after being rejected.
a person should move on if a person starts blaming them for rejection though. rejection is awful. but it doesn't mean you should get mad at them for it.
just because everything went just as planned in the person s head doesn't give them a right to be angry at the rejector.
obviously the person who's got all upset isn't social enough to catch the queues that the person being admired is giving off.
I've fallen pretty hard for a lot of girls. but I never once blamed them for it. I was just like "well I gotta do better next time"
@PixelEvolution very true I agree all the way that people should move on with their life after a rejection but unfortunately a lot of folks today aren't strong enough move and live on with their failure
Absolutely!!
@PixelEvolution I've had a couple of guys get angry and me and be immature at me rejecting them, even if i didn't do anything at all to show interest in the first place. makes you feel like you did something wrong even if you didn't.
you're attitude is a really good one to have! I wish more guys thought like this, it seems like a much a healthier way to deal with things.
*your
@lolitaaa__ I appreciate your words. :) thanks.
and sorry to hear that. I bet you kinda wish you can just be yourself without someone falling so hard for you, right?
I said this another post but their isn't much you can do with guys like that. You kinda just have to wait it out, til you find the good ones. I hope that you find your good one soon. if you haven't already:D
Imagine putting all of your love, time and effort into someone, only for you to reject their feelings. Wouldn't you feel a bit bitter from that?
exactly
Because they don't see or understand why they were rejected. They likely haven't matured enough to not take rejection as a bash to their ego and could even be a way of damage control. Playing victim is often what a lot of people like to do.
Because nobody likes being rejected. It hurts and They do it so they do not feel bad about themselves its a defense mechanism and also to make you think that they really didn't like you anyways. Which is not true
The good potential is equivalent to the bad that's how it is. just cut him off if he starts talking by saying sorry and turn and walk away and tell him to spend his energy on someone that might give a shit but that's not going to be me.
I think it's because they have a cocky attitude and they can't believe that a woman could ever reject them. Their egos get bruised really easily.
Although you may mean it in the best possible way. it's still tough when getting rejected. this can initiate a type of coping method with dealing a temporary downfall.
Why some men are bitter and mean to the girls after reject? The same reason why women are bitter and mean to the male after reject. You females work hard that you are better than males. No, you are not.
Being rejected sucks. Imagine saying hi to a few girls and being rejected out right.. on top of that the chances of girls saying hi to you are next to none. it doesn't excuse the behavior but it would make you salty
girl you literally answered your own question. it's because they're immature. its nice to see how you dodged a bullet when they flip out after being rejected lol
Depends, if a girl just basically said "no" and hadn't shown any signs of mutual interest beforehand then that's fine. But, if she's led me on, told me she feels the same way, stuff like that and then is like "nah" then that might piss me off a little.
Because we must have that pussy!!! It is important for penis survival! It is like not giving CPR to a drowning person! You chose not to save a life by rejecting! Now that penis will die and get either buried or cremated!
because they don't understand the difference between pride and confidence.
a confident man can be rejected and be fine. even maintain a friendship with the person. a prideful person will be hurt and sometimes throw a fit
Well you can't use "men" for that kind of boys. That is because of immaturity, they do things like that. But when they grow up, when they confront reality, they realize that everyone has a back story, everyone has their own reasons and finally when they become dad of a beautiful daughter, they only encourage her to reject or dump the jerks if she dates any.
I get bitter and mean because if I ask you out, and you reject me, you probably led me and tried to get me to notice you. I'm not openly mean, I'm just serious and less focused on connecting with women after that.
If it's a random girl that I decide to talk to, and she isn't interested I don't care, but I rarely just approach random women.
The only ones that make me bitter and mean are the ones who lead me on for kicks or to feed her ego.
it's a pride thing almost they have to big to the boys even if they aren't there It clears through maturity Another reason can be they have a period of doubt as to why you split and they have to convince them self's they were right
Yes some can be very disrespectful I was called beautiful and sexy by the same guy and when I rejected him he called me ugly and said that why would I want a girl like you. I don't understand why do some of them have to act like that.
The reason is ego as it get hurt. It shows that the compliments were fake and the decision of rejection was correct. They don't have courage to hear "NO" from any girl. The true love never start hurting anyone.
A girl promise you love, stealing days, months, sometimes years of your life, just to go away one day because she changed her mind... and you ask why someone has to be stingy? Are you serious?
If they end up hating you, you probably ruined their self-esteem pretty good even if it was unintentionally. I've seen this happen.
You're very wise to be so young. keep it up young lady
Because why try, when you got rejected? They want to be nice, spend time with you AS PARTNER, not as friend or something, when you reject that, there is no reason anymore to try it.
Because they feel that they are entitled to a girlfriend. When you reject them, their feeling is "It's not fair! Those other guys have girlfriends! I'm just as good as they are!"
Because it's a kick to their ego. Rejection hurts no matter how gentle it is, and they figure that they can hurt you since you hurt them. Little boys handle rejection this way. Men don't
It's because their ego is very frail. Secure, confident men don't do this. But if you can put yourself in a guy's mindset of putting himself out there and getting rejected, it's easy to see why some men react that way.
well a lot of guys just cannot accept rejection. it makes them feel downgraded about themselves. it could involve their ego. when a guy a guy likes a girl but she doesn't feel the same way, it's common men can be jerks to them afterwards. I've seen this issue occur with girls as well.
it's usually because they have issues about their self image and look at the rejection as an attack on their self image, if they'd get t
heir heads out of their asses they wouldn't do it
Most men are mistreated in the relationship before your's.
It builds hate overtime.
How we learn it seems to effect our present relationships.
Who's to blame when we fall for the pretty types. 😜🤘
the nice way to say no is just no. attempts to spare a man's feelings just come across as patronising.
as for why, think of yourself as two people: A guy is being friendly doing really well getting along with girl A. She was responding positively engaging the conversation so the guy asks the girl out. Then girl B turns up and says no and kills and replaces girl A.
rejection can be difficult but its no excuse to be mean and this goes for either sex... its not like there aren't enough people in the world to just move on and find someone who wants you too
I think it's because their ego gets damaged and because they didn't get what they wanted. People like that tend to not be good for you anyway so you find out their true colours at their worst.
Some women flirts and gives blue balls they are not direct from the start they make that guy fall for them and then she says no and thats not good.
I personally dont get nasty but, I would imagine that after so many no's a guy gets discouraged and gets nasty. Think if women asked men out & you got turned down 5 or 10 times in a row, how would you be? I'm not at all saying its cool but...
They don't know how to deal with the rejection. The rejection really hurts them and they need to deflect that hurt back on you. I think it's a learned behavior from the environment they grew up in.
I swear people should only take advice on this site from the people who are 30yrs or older. After reading your comment I knew you weren't some 18 year old. Well said
Why do women get angry and cold towards all men after a couple of failed relationships?
Funny how women dislike shit they know is true.
🤐 I dunno
Good counter point. Also funny seeing the girl dislike.
Not all women do and the reason for that is probably because it's happened to them enough to have destroyed them in the past, they don't want to have to go through that and it's also partly due to those guys that don't make them feel loved maybe or appreciated so to the first reply comment no one ever denied that it's true! Obviously everyone has their own brain and experience as well as emotions, everyone handles it differently but it's all placed under the 2 categories so going back to immaturity or maturity
Not everyone's life has been easy and maybe women have even been affected or traumatized by seeing their own parent's relationship fail where they just that idea stuck into their head or a step dad has done wrong, a relative, someone in their life has obviously given them that reason to become like that just as someone has probably given you a reason to comment this question..
Im not angry towards women for being rejected, Im angry and bitter towards myself.
Why are you bitter towards yourself
@itsjustlife75 I can't get a girlfriend
@itsjustlife75 Im ugly and everyone thinks, Im stupid.
You're not ugly. And don't let people get to you. You're fine and as long as you know you're fine, you shouldn't worry about what anyone else says. I'm sure you'll find a girlfriend. You've plenty of time to get into a relationship you're young.
Never forget it,

Many womans does not approval date this guy with hair...
because this bitch has a lot black guys... so much feminism's hypocrites.
Girls don't understand why we are upset. We get rejected every other day make u bitter or feel not good enough. Otherwise, girls don't get rejected much as guys cuz they don't approach men.
We get sooo rejected!!! We are forced to say hi to 100 bitches a day so we can get 3 to say hi back lol,
They are angry that they invested their time and effort into something and get nothing out of it. If you know he likes you, stop leading him on and tell him. That'd why he's mad.
It's the same when you say "no" to people in other context, and they cannot take it.
People these days are accustomed to having everything they want, just because they want.
Maybe as there hearts are broken and sometimes girls say some harsh things to guys they reject which effects the guys and they behave like this
Because for me I felt insulted like she hurt apart image. once I was rejected and was like what do you mean. you don't look at me like that it's funny now because I'm more mature and can handle rejection. but yes the reason was because I didn't understand how rejection affected me
That's happened to me before, realized that it had nothing to do with me and he was just going through shit. I just let him be, but I don't know why they do it
They are too emotional and need to be more logical.
They need to stop taking too much soya, flaxseeds. It's only for women who go through menopause.
Only a estrogenic surplus acts this way.
