Would you rather be friendzoned or outright rejected and ignored?

So I am in a bit of a situation with a guy that liked me for a very long time (and recently told me he still likes me), he knows I don’t like him back but I feel like he keeps hoping something will happen. I like him, as a friend and we are fairly close (we talk often and he does listen to my advice and such :p), but I don’t want to lead him on and would much rather prefer he found someone else... it’s not urgent or anything, but in such a situation what approach would you prefer?

Reject him! I've kind of been in the same situation (although I didn't know if she liked me back) and I wasted years being hopeful and hurting myself with it.

You should tell him how you feel, and if he still wants to be friends then that's his decision to make.

I chose C. I would rather him come right out with how he feels, and if he wanted to continue a friendship with me thereafter, I'm game.
