Motorcycle attracting unwanted attention..why can't it be the wanted kind?

Ever since I bought my new motorcycle I've been attracting a lot of attention from the opposite sex. That's not the problem. The problem is that the attention I've been getting is from girls who are about 10 years younger than me, still in high school, and not even legal yet!

Now, I am 27 years old. I don't need or want sexual advances from girls who can land me in jail. But I want to know why I've been getting all this attention from younger girls and why I'm not getting any from girls my own age. What's the deal?

Just playing. I know exactly what you mean. For a while I had a my bike and a 2002 Ford Mustang Cobra. The teen girls couldn't get enough of it. I would be at the drive through at McDonald's and have 15 year old girls knocking on my windows and asking for a ride. I'm 22, so I'm a little younger than you but it's still just as illegal.

Girls that age just want to do the craziest shit they can do because they know they won't be held responsible. They can stalk you, f*** you, then turn you in the cops and they will be the victims every single time.

Most women (not all) around your age are looking for the guy driving the BMW or the Benz. Mostly because they probably have had their fun already and now are looking for that high status guy that can either match them if they are white collar, rich women or whisk them away to a high status lifestyle if they are nobodys.

Driving my Cobra through Los Angeles literally got me laughed at. Try asking a model out while driving a Ford. Doesn't go too well. But when I drove around in my friend's BMW 745 a couple times, I had some 27 year old models, dancers, and actresses give me their phone numbers and others would just get in to the car without even asking who the hell I was.

Your ride is a direct representation of who you are and your lifestyle. Some women your age will want to go down the freeway at 160 on a crotch rocket, but that's mostly for the younger girls.

Lol you're probably right. my bike can't do 160 and isn't really a crotch rocket, tho on a twisty road it can leave most crotch rockets behind. 2000 SV650. I don't really ride it like that either.

Young little things are more likely to think you are "cool" for riding a bike. Women closer to our age are more concerned with stability and a bike doesn't scream stability. It screams things like I don't want to settle down and I may be run over any time by a girly not paying attention texting on her damn phone. Personally I think bikes are extremely sexy. My husband just got a Ninja 650 a couple of months ago. All my women friends told me I was crazy for letting him get a bike. I don't "let" my husband do anything. He does what he wants. I always told him if he gets a bike then I get one. I wasn't serious until I drove his. I can't wait to get mine. I'm a itchin'. What I'm trying to say I guess is more mature women see a bike and are concerned for your safety and not about how sexy you look. It didn't help my husbands friends chances of getting a bike when woman didn't check her blind spot and clipped his front end going 60 on his way home from work. The bike was pretty thrashed and he rolled about 60 feet. All his gear was trashed but he just bent the shifter back, got back on and rode it home. Now that's sexy lol.

Ninja 650 is a great bike, just be sure to have him upgrade the brakes on it ., . .the reviews all say that the brakes are that bikes weakness and theyre downright horrible

well the motorcycle has always represented the rebel side even if you just innocently feels more comfortable riding one and all and you need to notice that teenage years its basically the rebelling years so the motorcycle just looks so appealing and attractive to a girls that has this rebel tendencies as part of her growing up.

well older women that's more your age might also be rebellious yet they see it in a different way and the motorcycle means nothing but a personal preference, I think you just need to stay away from those kids that would get you in troubles haha and just focus on being an appealing usual 27 years old guy!

I said something to my dad about motorcycles one time, and his response was, "I used to have a motorcycle. . .then I grew up." I don't know if that has to do with the way women your age see you, but it's a theory.

As for teenage girls--think James Dean, Easy Rider, even the freakin Fonz. I don't know how many girls my age and younger actually get those references, but those are all rebels, and a lot of young girls like bad boys. Most girls grow out of that eventually. And you might be 10 years older than them, but some girls just don't care--that's part of the appeal.

I own a bike because riding makes me feel free in a way nothing else does, not because of the attention it may or may not attract, and I'm not somebody who does wheelies or anything. it just makes me feel happy.

I wasn't suggesting you have a bike because you want attention. But as long as you have one, you're going to have young girls looking to live out their rebellious fantasies. . .creepy.

My little sister gets unwanted negative attention because she races motocross so I get what you mean. It's because riding motorcycles is seen as manly, dangerous, cool, and fun. It's why younger girls are into that because their into being reckless, wild, and they're usually into "bad boys." Just tell them you're old enough to be their father and it should make them think twice about it.
