Why does a girl ask to wear my hoodie?

My friends think this girl at school likes me and I know I like her. Today she asked to wear my hoodie that has my name on it and I told her sure, but to give me a minute (I was in the middle of something). She kept pestering me about it and since I like her, I wasn't going to say no and I just let her wear it. She wore it the whole day and I had to catch her at the end of school before she left with it to get it back.

Mind you, it was a pretty hot day so there was really no need for a hoodie today, but she wore it all day straight and didn't take it off once.

Why did she want to wear my hoodie so badly?
Does she like my scent?
Did she just really want to wear my hoodie for some reason?
Why do girls love to finesse our hoodies normally?

She obviously likes you, but she seems like the 'super clingy type' watch out for those. She was just marking her territory I guess (that's if she wasn't dared to ask you for your hoodie and wear it all day)

Its about closeness. Wearing your stuff probably makes her feel closer to you. Kinda like having a bit of you around her all the time
