How come I don't notice when guys check me out?

but when they are checking out my friends it's like the most obvious thing in the world.

like the other day my friend and I were at star bucks connected to a bookstore and these skater guys walk in and they start staring at us and I'm convinced that they are checking out my friend even though she insisted that they were looking at me. I kinda just ignored her and walked off to get some napkins well while we waiting for our drinks one of the guys kept walking pass me and looking at me and I kinda ignored him because I dint think anything of it when we got our drinks and left my friend was totally mad saying that I always do that when guys are checking me out. but I don't notice when stuff like that happens because I'm not use to it. so is there something wrong with me or do other people do that too?

some guys will check out a girl from head to toe in the most obvious way. like "oh yeah, she's stacked". usually this indicates that the guy is only interested in the girl for purely sexual reasons.

but when a guy spots a girl that has some potential, like you can tell that she has a brain, and not two brains that she stuffs in her bra every morning. the guy's natural reaction is to check out the girl like a ninja, try and be as sneaky as possible. the reason for that is so that the guy does not come off as shallow, or a pig-headed male. those situations (much like yours) the guy tries to make eye contact, and then during the eye contact, he'll try to gauge your reaction. If you smile during the eye contact, than it's a good sign. If you avert your eyes right away after the initial contact, than he'll either take it as "she's not interested" or "she isn't paying attention".

no matter the intentions of the guys, they'll always, ALWAYS check out a girl. because we're sight driven.

you probably don't notice them checking you out because you dismiss it when a guy looks at you, but you do notice them looking at your friends because they are not you, hence, your friend's reason for noticing them checking you out. it's probably a psychological thing. everyone has a different perspective about themselves than other people do. (ex. You think a guy is the hottest thing to walk the face of the Earth, but the guy himself doesn't think he's hot at all.)
