My little brother's friend likes me?

So, I just found out my brother's friend likes me, and I'm not sure how to feel about that. I'm 17 and he's 16 so age isn't really an issue, it's just I can't tell what my brother would think. He's a cool guy, probably my favorite of all my brother's friends, and lately he's been hinting that we should go out. I'm not sure how to respond, I'm pretty close with my brother and I have a feeling dating his friend could get really awkward, and fast.

So, would you be okay with your sister dating a friend of yours?

I thnk you should avoid it, to you he might just be a relationship but if you guys don't work out you will make things awkward for your little brother, he is his friend and he is your brother so he is gonna be split between the two of you. It might cost him his friend. So I say you stay away. Most likey ( not trying to be mean but only realistic) your relationship at 16 won't last a lifetime so I say avoid this whole thing, there's plenty of other cute guys out there. Plus you might want someone a little older than you since guys tend to be immature at that age.

Well, he's definitely an exception with the whole maturity thing, but I can see how it would be weird for my brother. Guess I just have to figure out how to say no to him while staying friends with him as well.

I mean I think it would be the smart thing to do, but if you really care about him then maybe you should have a talk with your brother and ask for his opinion too.
