So my brother is teased a lot by all his friends that he has a hot sister. And his one friend ***** teases him especially. I saw him at a mixer (a casual dance sort of thing that his all guys school hosts) and he approached me and said oh hey your #####'s sister and we flirted for a little bit we were being a little physical and by that I mean touching each other in a flirty way. (note ***** is known as a little bit of a man whore because he has so many girls interested in him, and he hooks up alot) anyways later that night when my brother and I were driving home he asked if I got with *****, I said no why and he said that***** told him that he was going to hook up with me.

Did he only say that to my brother to tease him?

did he think I'm hot and actually want to get with me?

or did he do both?

It sounds like he is attracted to you but it definitely doesn't sound like he's interested in having anything serious with you other thank hooking up. I think him telling your brother that was really disrespectful and he sounds like a scumbag in my opinion. If you're going to get involved with him then keep your guard up and definitely don't give anything up to him sexually until he earns it. He seems like the type of guy who would go around telling everyone or would make up lies and tell everyone those.

he actually is one of the nicest guys at the school, everyone loves him. he and my brother are friends, and friends tease each other. I find him very attractive in all, actually he's like the complete package very smart,veryyy cute, funny, caring, etc. I just don't want things to become awkward if I were to hookup with him

Well then I'm not too sure about it. He could have just been playing around. If he plays around with you though, it's an indication that he's somewhat attracted to you. A guy wouldn't flirt with a girl he has absolutely no interest in. If he does, then he's probably an attention whore who doesn't deserve your attention or anyone else's for that matter.
