Trying to make me jealous is only pushing me away?

long story short, we are best friends, we became so close, we had this short period of "lost feelings", we were confused about our feelings toward each other, but quoting him "if we do date, we are for sure to ruin this great friendship, and I am willing to do that, ever"

so, he is the one who stopped things well before it started.

after all of this, we are still great friends, and still do the same activities as before. but for some reason he is acting a lot weird, hugging and KISSING random girls (they are our friends, but he'd never do that, it's not HIM)

I'm taking it with an open heart and a smile (not at first, but now I got used to him)

BUT.. and here's the big BUT... every time I hug a guy, he gives me a weird look, and gets pissed off...

I mean, come on, at least I'm not kissing every guy I see.. and those guys I hug are my really close friends that I've known for longer than him...

WHAT CAN I DO? I JUST DON'T UNDERSTAND WHAT HE WANTS FROM ME..!

HOW TO MAKE HIM UNDERSTAND THAT WHAT I ONCE FELT FOR HIM IS NO LONGER THE CASE NOW, AND HE IS THE ONE RESPONSIBLE FOR "US" NOT BEING AN "US"...?!?!

BTW why should I be the one to back off, why am I the one to block my friends away while he enjoys his time..

I find it to be a very selfish move.. and it's getting on my nerves

His jealous! He wants to make you jealous kissing and hugging friends to see how you will repond - but when you do it, he thinks that your starting to get over him or something so he's feeling annoyed. It seems like he still likes you tho. You can approach him and ask him straight, rather than both of you running around in circles.

He might have been playing hard to get, hoping you'd try to make it more than friends anyway. But you both backed down from it.

take some time to sit down with him some where private you can talk and just explain things to him, it will be hard but be kind and stick to your convictions.
