Touching someone's face? What does this mean?

i work at Starbucks, and the other day when I was making a drink, I some syrup splashed up on my face. I laughed and wiped it off, thinking I'd got it all. a few minutes later, I was talking to this guy that I work with (who I definitely am into) and he interrupted me mid sentence with a smile and said "you have syrup on your face" and wiped it off.

now, correct me if I'm wrong, but touching someone's face is an extremely intimate thing to do, right?

i mean, most people would just point out where it was and let me get it myself, right?

what does this mean?

Hmmm?Good question. I would probably say that someone touching your faces when there is something on it is an act of intimacy. He might like you since he's willing to touch your face and wipe off the syrup. He seems very comfortable and kind to you. So yes, I would say that he likes you. He's attracted to you, plain and simple. How deep his affection goes however, I cannot account for. But that kind of touching is very personal, and does demonstrate that he clearly likes you.

Well, touching someone's face isn't something "extremely intimate". Although, if he interrupted you with a smile... he might be into you! ;)
