My crush is always watching me, is he protective?

We both like each other and i've been noticing recently that he's been looking at me A LOT, but not just in your average boy way. I feel like he's actually watching me to keep an eye on me from afar. do boys normally do this, is it a guy thing? I can feel him watching me when he comes in for work and when i'm interacting with everyone especially if it's another male. today he went into the small office that is closest to my desk to "say hi" to our sales rep guy but no conversation was actually happening between him and this guy. i felt like he went in there just so he could be close to me or watch me? and i felt like (you know those gut feelings/intuitive feelings girls get) he was keeping his eyes and ears on me, listening to what i was saying in the other adjoining office just so he could keep an eye on me? guys, is this a thing you do? lemme know if he's being protective orrrrrr whatever the heck it is

this just started recently and I don't know if it's because I have an injury or if it's because he really is starting to care for me but i wanna know either way what he's doing?

no, the thing is, he used to not do jack shit and just tease me and kinda be mean. ever since i had a talk with him about it, he's been doing this. i quite like it, it kinda shows me that he doesn't hate me lol

dang itttttt, I hate that lol, it makes it that much harder to reach out. I always feel like I'll be bothering him or something bc since we work together, i know when he works and I know he's going to school too, soooo... I just feel like I'm adding to the pile :'(

I'm always waiting basically, unless I really have a good conversation starter. He recently started actually snapping me, like sending pics of himself and I think that's the first time he's initiated something. I'm waiting for him to do it again, but gosh, I just wanna talk to him so bad. I know he works tomorrow, so I'm afraid that if I do it now (it's almost 10 PM where I am), he'll be like "lol go to bed" because he jokes like that
