How do I get my boyfriend to tease me more?

My boyfriend and I used to have such a laugh before we got together, but since I asked him out, he's like super lovey dovey serious just wants to be all romantic and stuff. I do like him a lot, don't get me wrong, and we've only been dating for two weeks. I was hoping it'd wear off, but it doesn't seem to be.

So I started teasing him, hoping he'd get the picture that I like it, and it didn't really work, so I said "do you mind me teasing you like this, by the way?" to which he replied "as long as it's not too often" so I told him "You know, you can tease me too, right" and I gave him some examples, but he said "I could never say those things to you!"

I told him to say it out of love, but he was still like "I'm never going to call you anything like a lazy bitch!"

So, yes, I love to be teased, it makes me laugh <3 Any ideas on how I can make him understand that teasing is not mean?

Me and my boyfriend tease each other all the time I never once thought it was mean...Maybe he's afraid if he goes too far with the teasing he will either:

a. Hurt your feelings

b. He won't have the boyfriend girlfriend connection and it'll seem more like just friends

or c. He feels like he should play the part of the perfect prince charming to impress you,

it could be something else but if you want to be teased then just say, "hey ___' remember when we always would joke around and laugh all the time? How come we can't still act like while we are dating?" this way he knows what you want while your just casually asking him what has changed without confrontation. Guys do NOT like to be confronted on if they have changed. Trust me they get defensive and it never ends well.

I think it's probably option C, since he is doing all the stereotypical "Prince Charming" things xD; (Hell, he calls me 'milady' from time to time) but yes, I shall have to try that :3 thanks for the advise~

it took a while, but now we're back to the teasing stage (though, we've got some romance in there too, but it's a good balence) , and we're both really happy with it :3 best answer for you~ thanks so much
