People call me pretty all the time wherever I go then why guys I like rarely like me back?

This is the question that is stuck on my head recently. When i ask this question people NEVER know the answer. My friends tell me that i am a great person to be with and many people like my personality (not all of them though). Also people (especially guys) call me pretty often. But all my crushes were rejecting me back to back. I don't know what i am doing wrong... They show so many signs of liking me but they never approach me nor talk to me and when i find the courage to approach them myself they reject me. Is it maybe because they are intimidated by my confidence or am i just ugly af?

its just the name of the game. 99% of people you approach are going to reject you. thats a bit of an exaggeration, but the majority, for whatever reason, are going to say no, and thsts just the way itll always be, for anyone. you're definitely attractive, and you seem nice! i think most guys would be flattered to have a girl ask them out, i would lol. i dont think you're doing anything wrong, just gotta keep asking those you have an interest in, and eventually you'll get somewhere!

These guys were quite young. I got asked out a few times at that age and I said no to the girls despite finding them very attractive.

The main reason was that I had no confidence. I thought I’d probably fuck it up with them anyway, I’d never had a girlfriend before, I didn’t know what to do or how to even have a relationship with a girl.

They are not confident enough to date a girl like you, who has a great personality and great looks. And when you approach them they just play the tough game. Also at your age, you will mostly find trashy boys. So just don't chase them. When it's time you will get a loving person who will compliment you in every possible way.
