So at work there is a girl I found attractive. I asked her what she was doing one weekend (this was a couple months ago) and she got super red in the face/played with her necklace and told me what she was doing etc.. She finished the sentence with “thanks though” so I took it as polite rejection.
She was a bit quiet around me but would say hi to me a lot more which was weird. I was paranoid and deleted her off instagram because I felt I made her uncomfortable (I’m a little bit older than her so I wondered if that was it). I talked her a few days later and told her I was sorry if I made her uncomfortable and that it wasn’t my intention and she just giggled, touched my shoulder and said it was alright. She was a lot more friendly with me after.
Flash forward to now. She stares/glances at me a lot. She goes out of her way to talk to me. She giggles with her friend sometimes and stare at me. Smiles to herself and looks down when we walk pass. Among other things. Basically I’m getting signs she is interested.. and I have been playing it safe. HOWEVER this is where the awkwardness comes into play!
Yesterday I heard her talking to some coworkers about me. She didn’t use my name but I KNOW it was me. Talking about how I sometimes look at her and she doesn’t understand why Im so nervous. I’m SUPER embarrassed that my coworkers are in the know and I also am unsure how to proceed. We might be hanging out this weekend in a group so I can talk to her more casually then but I don't know what to do man 😅😅😅
