After talking with a guy, would you rather he ask for your phone number or give you his number? Or maybe write a note with a message and his number on it? Or if he offers you his number and you're interested, would you just offer your number anyway?

Got a girls number that I really liked. We were both doing DoorDash.. I gave her a note and she texted me back. We texted that night. She did say "A lot of stuff my life's very messy right now 😂 and I'm so busy I may ignore u for a week and not even realize it." She replied to one Snap. Should I trust what she said and give her some space?

I personally prefer that he ask for my number. I don't want him to ask for my social media nor would I give it if I had one. I'm not going to call or text him first. Call me old fashioned but also it sets the tone to where I'm the initiator and I'm not down for that. I want the man to lead and be assertive.

I think you should move on and give her all the space in the galaxy. If she reaches out to you okay fine but don't bother pursuing her anywhere. I wouldn't dare tell a man I'm into how I'll be too busy for him. I'd make an effort to take my phone off silent more often so that I don't ignore him by accident.

I prefer to have his number cause a guy who calls me at unwanted times or fails to call me on schedule is annoying but if I have his number, I get to choose when we walk.

Answering your update:

Yes but to an extend. This is where you will find out just how much she is interested in you. I say this because if the opposite sex is interested in you, they WILL make time. Not only will they make time, they will also ANTICIPATE and wait for any communication from you. Chemistry thingy majiggy in the brain working overtime. I had a guy who (due to a time difference of like -7hrs) would wait for me to wake up at 6 am every day just so he could say good morning to me and have a 5-10 mins chat before he fall asleep. And text at every opportunity.
