I like this girl (coworker) but i'm too socially awkward-shy to even approach her, How can I go about doing it?

we both work at a grocery but in different departments, I work in the front end where the bagger's and cashier's are and she works at the Starbucks kiosk that's located inside the store. I think this girl is really cute and I been wanting to go over and talk to her when she's actually working over there and eventually possibly ask her out but I physically can't do it my socially awkward-shyness wan't allow me to even when I have an opportunity it's like my brain shut off and I become not myself.

We stare at each other from time to time not all the all time and I've met her gaze a few times and a few of those times I saw her smile at me but that's as far as are interactions have ever gone.

I just need to know what a guy in my situation should honestly do? And, What would you all do if you was in my situation?

I feel you man. I have been there. I know the other answers aren't helpful at all. Well, since I haven't passed this hurdle I don't think I will be able to give you a good solution.

But I wished there were a middle man to help me in such a situation. Not too ask her out for me. Just to make a connection. Like starting a normal conversation while you are also there. So you can join the ongoing conversation by adding something to it.

That way I can get to know her and make her notice me. I can take over afterwards. This happened once at the university automatically. There was a middleman but he wasn't employed by either me or the girl.

But unfortunately it didn't go far as the girl was a bit annoyingly jumpy. So I had to forget her. That's another story but the method is totally doable.

I don't drink coffee at all not my type of thing so I never had Starbucks, I know they have non-coffee related drinks but I wouldn't know what to honestly buy or have someone else buy for me

there are other girls that work with her sometimes and because of that I can't bring myself to do it granted I'm a socially-awkward/shy guy so doing it even when she's working alone is tough for me but I also don't want to get embarrassed in front of the other people she works with if I end up getting rejected
