Can a girl like you and be creeped out by you at the same time?

A coworker used to like me and flirt with me a lot until she found out something about me that she didn't like. It's not anything that makes me dangerous or scary, but can be off-putting or maybe creepy to some people.

Since then, she's been a little distant, but would still be a little flirty sometimes, though not as much as before. However, she seems to avoid being completely alone with me now more than she has to. And she basically ran away when I offered her a ride home, because her car broke down.

I decided I was going to quit because of this (though I told her it was for some other reason), but she said she didn't want me to, and said she'd probably quit if I did. So I really don't know what to think.

So this actually happened to a roommate of mine. He shared something about himself that he thought she would find fun and sexy but it totally creeped her out. They had only been dating a week at this point. I told him to give her some time to wrap her head around his "confession" which he did. She was still a bit wiggy about it but they agreed never to bring it up again. They eventually broke up but it had nothing to do with his "confession". They just decided that they weren't compatible and the split was mutual.

Yes they can. My girlfriend loves me but is also unhappy about my sex history. She always want to breakup when she remembers that. But she loves me so she cannot. It's not weird.

It makes things confusing, because I can't tell if she wants me to go away or stay. She'll make it seem like she wants me to quit, but when I actually plan to, she seems upset about it. I don't know if it'd be better to stay or go.
