I was half asleep, and not feeling great this morning, mainly my digestive system, and i took the day off from work, but that's aside the point. I had asked the girl i liked a question on her story, cause i wasn't sure of something she posted in it, and she replied as such but because i was half asleep, i just simply replied "oh, ok", and i replied wayyyy too quickly, which makes it look like i like her. i just "retracted" (deleted that), and said "You have the kindest heart of anyone I know" because it made sense to go along with what she said, and I know it'll make her feel good through text.
She likely won't bother to read it since I had already replied but, god dangit, i knew i shouldn't have been so eager to post, lol. Oh well

Yes. i want to correct it immediately.
My number one repulsion and maybe biased by working in tech field is, "Can/may I ask you a question?"
Then I read that towards the end of the day and I don't wanna answer. Then I wake up the next day and I still don't wanna answer. It's stressing me out. Why can't she just ask the actual question? I gotta answer two bare minimum now? Does she even know how rude this is?
As for when I realize I said something stupid, usually next day or after when I sober up.
Oh, no, I had actually asked her the question. I try to avoid the “can I ask you a question” thing as much as possible. I just got straight to the point. But, when she answered, I should have taken my time, lol
You second-guess yourself too much in my opinion if you don't mind a critique. I thought I was bad and you take it to a whole new level. And you give up too easily if there was any investment towards her behind your actions. Don't be so weak! Don't accept this part of yourself too much. Try to fix it!
