If a guy is doing that then it means he is playing a mind game. Simple.
Either he's bi-polar or he doesn't know WHAT the fuck he wants!
He likes you and is at least a little shy. He is unsure about your interest in him.
he needs a break. if he is flirts 24/7 while you don't contribute, he will get overwhelmed.
Maybe he was pre occupied?
