Way too mad if my girlfriend checks out another guy?

About 5 months ago my girlfriend checked out a guy at a restaurant about 4 times and I asked her to stop when I caught her the first time. I was really pissed at the time but she apologized and we moved on. Lately, that thought popped in my head and I've been fighting with her ever since. yeah she shouldn't of done that but I know I'm overreacting. I'm debating breaking up with her over it. Has any of you ever had this problem?

These are clearly signs of a person that is settling. in my opinion and may not work out in the end. But I don't know shit about your relationship so take this with a grain of salt.

I don't believe he's being insecure. It's about a woman focusing on her man. If she is checking out men RIGHT in FRONT of your face.. Then she clearly has no respect for you. So 5 months and you can't get over it? So is she still being disrespectful? To some it's ok, but to others that shit is really disrespectful and hurts. So no don't breakup with her, you did right, you've let her know you didn't appreciate it, she apologized, but it apology sounds like to me, that she needed to do more than apologize to you.. She should have understood that it hurt you very much.

Some guys will tell you that your over reacting but take it from me, if she is doing that kind of stuff in your face.. Imagine what she is doing behind your back. And for the people that are telling to relax, 9 times out of 10, they are single and don't give a shit, or they let their mate check people out in front of them.. And if any man tells their woman it's ok, It's because he's doing it to..

For me it's about total devotion, fidelity, monogamy, etc... If she has the audacity to give another man googly eyes, you better check her ass.. asap.. She needs to know that your paying attention to her and that behavior will not be tolerated.. So I can understand that your still upset about it, especially since your mind is or was totally invested in her. And when a man devout his love to a woman, he puts his life in front hers, he protects her, he holds down the fort for her, he helps her totally. If she doesn't understand that then your right, either teach her, or leave her.

And for you women on some silliness, If a man catches you checking other men out and he doesn't tell you to stop, you need to leave him anyway.. Because he's doing the same thing and could end up cheating..

whoa dude , I'm sure your not the air of holy abstenence here lol . you mean to tell me you've never at anytime checked out a girl other than your girlfriend weither your with her or not? what if she used the same logic as you are right now. ?(thinking about dumping you)

besides checking out someone doesn't mean anything unless they act on it. I mean by going over and asking for name and number and a lot of flirting and hang out with them type thing. if non of that happens dude chill out . ask yourself this question also even though that may bother you some has she been a good girlfriend so far some that deserves your care and love towards her. if she's never given you cause to doubt her relationship with you why then are you so upset and doubting.

You're breaking up with her over that? I think you need to rethink your relationship. It sounds like you're coming up with excuses that are small just to break up with her, do you want to be with her? If you truly care about her then I wouldn't see how this would be an issue if she has stopped and hasn't done it since. Of course it was disrespectful on her part to do it but she apologized. You need to drop it or break up with her and wait til you're ready for a serious relationship.

Have YOU never checked out another girl?...I wouldn't believe you if you said you haven't. It was 5 months ago, she apologized, and you said you've moved on. You obviously haven't so if it is really bothering you that much then maybe you should just break up with her. it is natural for a human being to look at a other human being specially if that person is looking nice. NOW it is very disrecpectful if she just keep staring while she has you on the side. don't brake up with her give her her the more she sees that you watch her like that and it bugs you she may stop or just give her a tase of her own medicine

ok , beauty is something that no human can avoid of admiring so you can't expect your partner to close her eyes on all the handsome guys out there ... I she would flirt or try to get close to other guys it could be a reason for you being mad ( ofcourse not after 5 months )

Go ahead and break up with her. Not because of what she did, but because you clearly are not ready for a serious relationship yet. You have insecurity issues that you need to get over before you can legitimately say you're "boyfriend" material.
