My girlfriend last night told me she wanted to meet new people, I don't know how I should take that?

My girlfriend and I were talking last night and she was telling me that she wants to meet new people. I know she really cares for me and loves me but why would she tell me that? Is it possible she wants to meet someone else now? Is she bored with me? Why would she want to do that if I am supposedly enough for her?

Thanks guys I talked to my psychology professor and she said women are just like that. She said that women require larger social circles than do men, that's why the enjoy parties more and baby shower and stuff like that. It doesn't mean she's bored with me just like brando said, she just probably doesn't feel she has very many friends.

Don't assume it as a break up or anything of that nature unless she says so. Just try to mix up your relationship, by doing something new. You might want to ask her what she means by meeting new people, so you can stop assuming and worrying, but besides that take this as an opportunity to expand your horizons by making new friends and trying new stuff.

She probably doesn't want to have a new boy toy. What she wants is just to meet new people. She wants to have new friends because doing the same routine or hanging aorund the same people is sometimes boring.

She wants to meet new friends. Maybe she feels like she doesn't have many people in her life? She's not meaning it in the dating sense, she just wants to expand her social circle.
