Yes to men play fighting can sig off feelings. Because most men don’t usually tell a girl how they feel if they like her. Especially in the beginning. It’s usually done by teasing her, picking on her, “fighting” w her. Plus it gives him an excuse to be closer to her, touching her as well if she’s reciprocating. Men show affection to their friends by taking shit to them, picking on them.

Personally, I prefer to avoid any physical contact that could be misconstrued in any way. It's just easier that way, you know? As for what a guy thinks about it, well, I can't speak for all guys, but I can see myself accidentally delivery an elbow strike and leaving a nasty cut on her face, or swift side kick to her temple that leaves her unconscious.
