I’d try it. 😍
No thanks 🙂↔️

No, but I want to answer this question in two ways...
First, some disclosure. I am married.
So, my first answer:
Knowing what I know about marriage and women, not only would I have remained single, I wouldn't ever even bother to date again. I am not a member of the manosphere and I don't hate women, but this video from the 1970 Clint Eastwood movie "Two Mules for Sister Sara" summarizes it.
Now, for my second answer:
Assuming I was never married and didn't have such a negative viewpoint, I don't think I would go to such a party anyway. A large reason is because of the era I grew up in. You met potential mates naturally - through common experiences or friends - and you let life happen to you. So, if things don't pan out, then they don't pan out.
Going to a party like this is admitting, in a way, that you're a failure or desparate. Now, in defense of young people, the dating situation certainly has changed and the Internet has made parties such as this more common and there's less stigmatization about attending. Having an idea (but not fully knowing first-hand) the challenges of the modern dating world, that is perhaps justified and, if I was young and available and not having such a negative viewpoint, I might consider it - if I went with a friend. At the same time, I just can't fathom that I couldn't meet someone naturally as people always have since the dawn of time.
I want to give a third answer as to why "No" would be my answer...
I am old. 63. I am not in good health and, physically, I am not attractive anymore and can't perform sex well nor do I want to.
Let me put it to you like this...
Suppose I was a dwarf but I wanted to play basketball in the NBA. Well, I wouldn't bother going to an NBA try-out because there'd be no point in my going; I wouldn't be picked and, if I was, I'd fail at it anyway.
Suppose I was a baseball player, but I had a 0.000 batting average; I never got a hit and either struck out or hit into an out. After a while, all my hopes would be dashed as I realized I am not a good hitter and I would actually dread going up to the plate and getting another out because all it does is reinforce what a shitty hitter I am and that I should just give it up althogether. So, I ask myself why even bother stepping up to the plate when know that I am not going to get a hit?
For me now, going to such a party is like being the dwarf trying out for an NBA team or being the worst hitter, but stepping up to the plate only to make another out. It is a waste of my time and just reinforces the negative views that I have of myself as having little to no romantic worth.
So, in summary, instead of wasting my time telling me what I already know, I just don't bother and accept what I am and play the cards that God dealt me meaning that I would remain single and accept my fate.
@Sunrising No. I would not. The PhDs I've gotten in The School of Hard Knocks have taught me well. And, at this point in life, it's not just the women but me that is the problem. I didn't realize it at the time, but I loved and miss my...

I would go to a Lonely Hearts Valentines Party.
I've been to singles night clubs previously, but I've usually ended up drinking with a few guys that was also unsuccessful in finding a suitable female partner (mainly males attend).
But I've never seen a lonely hearts club advertised especially for Valentines Day until now with your question.
But it might attract the the wrong sort of people, but funnily enough if it attracts single people, that is what a single person is, "a lonely heart", and Valentines Day is for single people meeting a partner.
So if I was looking for a partner, what could be more perfect than going to a Lonely Hearts Valentines Party.
I definitely would try it with my best friends. Might be fun and there's drinks lol
Right 🤤
Yay that's cool! You're almost there!
So weird you can't legally do that til 21 in America
@Shrimpenjoyer I agree with this. It is weird you can die for a country but not have a drink.
@Friendlybro79 I’m not sure what my first legal drink will be. Hmm, perhaps this is a good question to ask and get opinions. I certainly have some time.
This is a good question lol. I wait for it and answer there ha.
Stay away from that poison. Every time a friend asks you to go drink with them put 25.00 away in to a Roth IRA then invest. No taxes on Capital gains or dividends. 59.5 years of age without penalty withdrawel except for first house, college, and other stuff i dont remember. Try to max it out every year.
Thanks for MHO!
No, that would reek of desperation. Just being there would be embarrassing.
But more embarrassing without a partner on Valentines Day.

It depends but I like doing things that I normally wouldn't do
Yea why not, drinks and chicks 😊
As for me I’m single & accepting applications & as for going to the Lonely Hearts Valentine’s Party I’m going to say HELL NO on that one. I have a heart & it’s not lonely because I always have pizza, ice cream & HDTV’s with 1080p to look forward to.
Knowing my luck the Lonely Hearts Valentine’s Party would turn out to be a Sausage Festival, no fucking thanks.
I'm not even remotely ready to start dating, I'm still a huge mess and way behind the curve.
I'll catch up but until then, while I certainly won't brush off a connection if made, I don't think it's a good idea to start yet when I'm not ready, that leaves me vulnerable to being taken advantage of
I would be much more likely to try if it wasn't completely blind date kind of get together. If your college is putting it on i would say thats a positive.
I think they are kinda like a mingle type event. Some girls in my hall went as a group. I talked to them yesterday, and they said that it was a really good time. They didn't stay much more than an hour but the one girl met someone nice that she is going to meet up with this week. Good for her.
Nice girls actually exist now?
Yes, I am single and I have always been single but no, I will just choose to stay at home (if weekend) or will go to office and work (weekday) but won't go to any Valentine's party.
I'd try it 😋💘👀😛 my spiky hair and me - while I'm pushing 30, I'd like to think I'm still as playful and spirited as I was at 20
Chuckle chuckle, lol.
@abbycado try to have a spirited valentines day, for us single folk, or for me, 💘 enjoy it.
@abbycado I'm off to bed, it's now the 15th Feb, yet I enjoyed solo shopping, chocolates with family, good vibes, and driving trips solo - what more could a man want 😋😅 while I'm single. Peace peace ✌️
As it was a Saturday - now it's Sunday. Yawn, night. Night 🌕 🌃
@abbycado Morning 🥑 Thank you Abby/Abb's. 💪 😜
Have a nice day and rest of you Cupid's weekend to Monday back to the daily grind 🏫 📚📖
@abbycado you watch Gordon Ramsay, repeats, right? 👍▶️ I've got a title you may have seen or known of on YouTube but you may not appreciate the edited video. There was a poorer Nigella one years earlier.
@abbycado oh never mind then, even if I mentioned you probably wouldn't want to look it up either. It's just been edited to make it seem like gordon's making anal jokes while cooking. Anyways moving along...
Glad you like the show - lot of F words
@abbycado television randomly presented to me the tail end of an infamous ER episode from the year 2000. Would you be someone more likely to watch ER or House repeats or even something medic? Just saying - unless you like to escape from the topic 😞😜
After hours understandable
About to wash some dishes now 😁
@abbycado you'll be shocked from something here Abby - gulps - I actually have no fear of blood, however I just choose not to watch medical procedure shows or movies. I don't even have a fear of needles. I'll comfortable watch a comedy or a horror or even a graphic slasher movie (not as good as the comedy). However I don't like medical procedures - I like the dentist and i don't mind check ups at the doctor or etc - however I don't care for shows or movies especially as graphic as ER. I stayed watching the episode for about 15 mins and felt I'd had enough
@abbycado in my head and aloud I was making jokes about "shit production has used a lot of fake blood / jam this episode" - those poor behind the scenes crews
@abbycado but see ER is a trauma hospital. As I learnt by my 20s - there's different types of ERs and hospitals. Silly goose me 🦆🪿
@abbycado so if it's not too privacy breaching - the kind of medical career you want to do for a living or for a job or a passion or both - does that look graphic or gore or hopefully just your corner general practitioner?
Who thankfully sees the minimal, at most, stitches 🪡
@abbycado to the original Questioner, apologies from Nicholas here Abby politely doesn't allow personal mail. And that's ok. And that's ok 📬
Oh wait, Abby's the Questioner 👀. The OG. Lol silly me
So a GP? Aka a MD?
Australia - USA. Nicholas here besides talking in the third person for this one further time referring to myself lol - I don't really know the American system. Then again you Abby don't need to know the Australian system. Shrug 🙃 not a lot of brains of me here. I just am a task filler - it's what I contribute to society. I've done a number of odd jobs before it. Attend a university campus (, cough) once.
I say tomatoe someone says tomato. It's all English but may as well be different worlds. Lol - the UK and their own lingo, crikey 😅🐊
Yes, except I will not be an MD. I would be a PA, or Physician's Assistant.
I will be able to see my own patients, but I will not be able to prescribe medication without the doctor signing off for me. They would review my report and then prescribe any medications or therapy.
That is why I won't have to carry the same super expensive insurance doctors have to. Ultimately, a doctor has to give the okay with a PA's evaluation.
@abbycado begs my curiousity for a simpleton (but not a simp lol) - why doesn't Abby reach for the stars, as above a PA? If it's not rude to ask. You're still doing better than me, but one time I was humble like that aloud smiley and upbeat banter and a woman seemed to crack at me once as my boss saying "don't always put yourself down like that" - that was an awkward mop moment.
Really. We were mopping floors with others present. Awkward 😜and I still played it off as "ok* - but anyways then moving on" - lol 😆
@abbycado I promise about to do dishes, cease taking up your valuable day, and my night, and my dishes call and beckon 🫴 🧤 - you know what I loved about my brief time doing medical like things - Abby, gloves. The smell of anaesthetic - the cleanliness. White walls. Fluorescent lighting. @abbycado obviously Nicholas here was cut out though for similar yet different life tracks - to earn a living.
And it sure beats working outdoors
Abby got a real behind the curtain insight today, as much as I also learnt. Thank you abb's - never abs (awkward lol 💪) 😁
Yet Abby is a far nicer ring to it @abbycado don't fret, not flirt. Enjoy the boyfriend -
@abbycado and ill continue on my life quest waiting for my waiting list circumcision to solve the phimosis. Ah well. Bit of telfast a day for the hives randomly a few years ago from the specialist and a puffer since 2022. They didn't want to introduce a digital health record in Aus years ago but Nicholas here is an open book lol 😂 it's not like critical financial details lol or passwords - ha 🔑 right Abby? @abbycado dishes time. 🫧 Enjoy your day ahead, as much as my night and my sleep 💤 soon
@abbycado hope you won't miss me much or even register in your memory banks lol 😉😆 just another GAG user / G@G me - though surely everyone always remembers the likes of JuicyJessie/Jessica405 and even Purplepoppy and yourself surely 🙂↕️🤭
@abbycado feel free to enjoy my profile Questions while you can 😃🤭 who doesn't love sex/anal questions 😆 on here
@abbycado @jessica405 she was active and a lifer here. She often would remark about in answers having anal sex with her lying on her and her boyfriends kitchen table the kitchen for missionary anal that she loved once a week - crikey eh? 🤭🤭🤭😅
When I was single I still wouldn't have. But this is an interesting fact. If you want to look it up in South Korea they actually have something like this. They go it's on a Friday and they going to eat noodles together. Look it up
All I know is someone is going to get this dick in their vagina... doesn't matter if I'm single or not.
I am eating alone right now. 🙂↕️
I always think positively and never get upset. Surely, one day she will find me.
Probably wouldn’t be what I would like it to be if I went there since I bet there would be more guys there and not the type of woman I would like to meet
Almost all these holidays don't mean anything to me anymore
I am single right now so I would try it.
No, would not go
@queenofcardio im surprised to read this 😅
I'm single because I dislike going to events, lmao
I’m single but nuh uh lol
Why not give it a shot
I am single, and maybe I would :/
No. That's not for me. Lol
Yes could be fun,,,
I don't think so.
Nope , I am shopping for a 30 to 50 Asian
Absolutely.
Sure
Never.
