Tried talking to your crush but got the cold shoulder?

i tried to talk to a girl I've been crushing the last few weeks of class. I've been noticing that she's been throwing some glances at me, we have a little eye contact, so that made me a little curious.

last week our final exam. after I was done, I was sitting studying for my next class, and I saw her walk past. I waved, and she kinda looked at me weird and waved, and I said with a smile "hey, how'd ya think you did do on your exam?" then she said "what exam?"

then I said "uh, the exam for our class?" then she replied "um, I think I did ok" then she just walked away. I just took that as she wasn't interested in talking with me more, and that I probably misread those glances. no big deal.

i'm glad I did try to talk with her, and a side of me kinda wanted to see her response, but I feel that kind of response happens to me wayyy too often. lol

how about yourself? ever got ignored or kinda blown off? how did it make you feel?

Yes, sort of, and it does feel pretty awful for a while, especially if they were paying you a lot of attention till you approached them. Some people are just flirtatious by nature -- not in a bad way, but they're just friendly, you know? Anyway, they often don't do it consciously so they wonder why people approach them...Sounds like the case with this gal.

a guy did this to me once it annoyed me because he was rude about it. but the strangest thing was, was that I cought him staring at me in our lecture and that's when I decided to say hi but he was rude as f*** so I decided to ignore him afterward. lol.

there could be a small possibility that she could just be really shy... ha ha trust me I know all about this

maybe, I don't know I felt that maybe I scared or creeped her out. she seemed kinda frozen, and cold...so if I see her next time around campus, ill leave her alone.

well if she is a shy girl, and likes you she MIGHT not really no how to react so she seemed 'frozen'...leave her alone if you think it would be the best :)..but I would suggest maybe ingnore her a bit like never look at her or approach her for a week or two... then after a few weeks of this approach her and smile a bit and ask a question.. if she likes you but she is just shy she may now start to open up a bit or talk a bit more.. since she will be hurt that you gave up on her before

i am probally wrong lol... but just incase that this girl is shy you can't just ingnore her or forget about her! lol... something like this happened to me you see.. ha ha its horrible when a guy gave up on you and now never tries to talk to you!..when the real reason why you 'froze' and seemed not interested was just because you are shy lol :(

i feel that maybe she should try to talk to me next time, if she really down deep felt interested in me too, but that reaction just screamed "uhh why are you waving to me and talking to me, I don't like you" lol.
