Why do my friends always get the girls?

I can't stand this any more. Through my life I've been told many things including "you're beautiful", "you're handsome" even that I could work as a model! But when I hang out with my friends and meet other girls that of my friends knows all the girls like my other friend(s) and they call him to ask him who he likes etc. nobody did that with me... I had a girlfriend once in my life. I always wanted to meet girls and see them interested in me or even one of them. Please answer I'm depressed :(

Looks aren't everything to women. They'll help you get a foot in the door, but confidence and personality must take over from there. If you don't have those things, the not as good looking (but still attractive) friend will win out.

really good advice: be somebody you like, not someone that other people "want you to be". when you do that, girls come after :P

In my experience some femininity is a good thing, too much is a bad thing. Try to balance looks and personality to get it right.
