She definitely is into me in the physical attraction part she always stands close I've noticed she tries to brush hands with me a lot we've been talking for a little while and I asked her if she wanted to go out some time. she says she wants to but that I'm confusing. How could I be confusing?

Are you sure you aren't giving her mixed signals? Like ignoring her over texting or chatting but then being flirty with her on other occasions? Girls pick up mixed signals SO quickly therefor it's important to always be sincere in your actions, especially when dealing with a girl you really like... so yeah.. you're confusing because your actions and words perhaps don't add up or in real life you seem not interested.

I mean I don't always respond to texts right away because I get busy and some days I don't really see her very often just because our schedules have us across campus or maybe I'm not having a great day. do you think that could be it?

Yes! If she's super sensitive to stuff like that you would appear to be "absent" or "distant" and that leads her to believe you might not like her in that way or you're trying to brush her off.

For the love of God whatever you do NOT change what you are doing. And above all dont do what XRabbitHeartX is telling you.. she's a girl and she takes the girls perspective. This girl you saw/sees can't figure you out, she thinks about you a lot and like you say obviously is attracted to you.. Basiclly you come off like a mystery to her.. Which essentially is why she is attracted in the first place. Why in the world would you even consider changing that? She wants more control, yet the fact the feels she can't control is why she likes you in the first place.. Its like a football game.. If you're 5-0, how are you going to play? Obviously keep doing the same thing cause its effective.. Only an idiot would change the strategy.. And yes the opposing team will try and convert your playing style by complaining you are playing too stiff and being too rough.. Let the referee judge that.. Your referee is the attraction. Just like wouldn't let the other make the referee's call, nor should your date

@RikardW At some point it becomes tiring to deal with a guy who is confusing you and will run the risk of losing the other person. If I actively like a guy and he starts to not respond to my texts for example, I will be far more turned off than turned on and I will just withdraw and move on. Also, a girl who plays games will maybe be interested in hot/cold behavior and will be 'intrigued" by it but I hear guys constantly saying they don't like when girls play games.. so either you want a straight forward girl or not. IF you want a straight forward girl then it makes no sense to play games with her because she'll just move on to someone who is straight forward cause she is straightforward.

Maybe she doesn't get the same signals from you that she is hoping for, the then hand thing for e.g. if she tried brushing against you "by accident" maybe you should return the favour?

If sort of mirroring what she does doesn't help just ask her straight out what she is confused about, you never know, we have the weirdest reasons to be confused something ;)
