Why do guys ask girls if they are jealous?

Hello guys, okay so this guy I like has asked me a couple of times now if I'm jealous of girls wanting him and what not. How come he does this? Is he asking because he simply wants to know if I'm afraid of someone else wanting him or? I'm not quite sure.

Plus! One of my friends on my street was having a party and this boy who asked me if I'm jealous went to it. However, the boy I used to like was at that party and the "jealous" guy knows about that already. When he saw me he told me "guess who I saw this weekend" and I said who and then he said the guy I used to likes name then he said he was going to call me and ask me to come to the party because he was there and I asked him why didn't you he said "he didn't know" and then we ended it there

It could be because if you're jealous it lets him know that you really like him. a test girls pull from time to time but with more subtlety.

another possibility is because it lets him know he has some kind of power over you. by power I don't mean dominant, authoritarian, master / slave like power to control you. rather the notion that he has the ability to effect your emotions which can make him feel slightly dominant and feel good. if he goes out of his way to make you jealous, this is probably why.

He could like you or he could know that you like him and is using you as a confidence boost which is a really messed up thing to do I hope this isn't the case can't really say from what you have said here maybe if we had more info goodluck.

Yes he could like you but he could just being playing with you but you never know you should ask him why does he keep asking if your jealous of girls wanting him and also ask him if he likes you no one else can answer the question only he can so good luck hope you get the answers from him that you want

Girls do the same thing to us men, asking do I ,look Fat or whatnot. Its basicly the same thing.
