Is it true that older guys move faster with relationships than younger guys

My boyfriend is 7 years my senior (I am 22yrs and he is 29yrs old) and he is so quick at everything.

We move so fast at dating, introducing me to his friends, parents, asking me out, Spoiling me. Then he made me his girlfriend. We have never been intimate though (although we both got tested). I am new to this speed thing; I still can't really take it all in as yet. This is going oh so fast and I have told him.

Yesterday we had a conversation and he asked to stop seeing me because he feels like he is more in love with me than I am with him. Which is true because I don't love him just really like him and don’t wanna lose him.

He says he feels used and like he is always pushing towards me yet I am always pulling back. We can still be friends and hang out but not to the extent at where we were. I am not accessible and it is hurting him. I have been hurt in the past and I am cautious because I don't wanna make the same mistakes and he is going oh so fast. What do you all think? Is it an age thing or not? O is it because I am used to jerks

older guys will be more in touch with what they want, and will be able to make that decision a lot quicker, as young guys, they don't have a clue past a x-box control, but regardless, he is showing you he can committ, and to you, if that's what you want, but if this is all to fast, just let him know, slow down, there's still things I would like to get to know about you from you and not your friends or your family, he's goping to understand this, but also explain why you feel as if you need to pull away a bit as you feel as if your going at 100mph and worry of missing something that's important to the relationship, and so what if he's into you more than you are him, this will always happen, but he needs to give you time to adjust and be sure its all well and good on your side, and a girl always likes to take her time lol, so just talk to him and explain that past relationships have been filled with a bunch of jerks becoming exes, and you want to get this one right as it feels right, and rushing doesn't seem as the right way to achieve that, and with all this, in your words, he will understand that, just because he's sure about you, does not make you sure about everything else,x

Something is wrong with him. He's rushing things, that's not something that older guys do. He must thing that you are out of his league and he wanted to stake his claim. He introduced you to his parents and why ou guys haven't even had sex? That's weird.

I thought he was too fast wanted to be sure that we two were std free before copulation. I think sex should come naturally, you will know when its the right time case it should just happen

Yeah, but if it's not happening naturally after like 3 or 4 actual dates then there probably isn't chemistry. 4 dates is a good number I think.

As you get older you have more of an idea of what you want in another person. You've dated more, had your heart broken more, etc. This leaves you with more of an idea of what you are looking for. He may have found all of the things that he is looking for in you. He also may be feeling time creeping up on him. Time to start a family. Tell him to slow down and take some time. If that doesn't work then let it go, being friends probably won't work either.
