It's ridiculous. We both avoid each other (and just make eye contact and look away). I blush and can't talk when I am around him. He blushes whenever someone mentions my name to him and suggests we date. We're both outgoing with other people. We get along famously when we have other people around and feel comfortable. . . but it is sooo hard for us to man up and just approach the other person!

I thought it may be a lack of interest on his part but I do exactly the same things as him and I know he's had a thing for me at some point. Plus I've been told about him blushing at the mention of me. Thoughts? Suggestions?

if both of you keeps doing it, it definitely gets nowhere and eventually both of you will move on or have someone else. Both are afraid of rejection.

You could say hi and smile to him and see if he responds. It is a friendly thing, nothing serious. I said hi to my crush and started talking to him, just normal things like school and stuffs, and he did not lose that chance to talk to me and we had a good time. Try not to think too much, try to see him like anyone else, not your crush,by doing that you would feel less pressure. I know it 's hard but it is not sth you can't do

Haha same advice I'd give myself :) Yeah it's just that there has been so much pressure put on the situation plus the fact that we rarely see each other that it has made it so ridiculous haha. I'll try that tho thanks :)

Ah, the shy-shy dilemma. The bottom line is that for anything to happen, or have a chance of happening, one of you has to make a move - that's all there is to it. If you both know each other and have good interactions (even though other people are around in those cases), then I would think there's even less pressure than if you were strangers.
