Why do I only get approached by older men?

So a couple of days ago at least 2 guys in their late 20s complain that they only get approached by younger girls. Now it's my turn to ask lol

I'm 25 and chubby. I'm working on the weight and halfway there. For some reason that I couldn't fathom I only get approached by older men. And my older I don't mean men in their 30s, but men with gray hairs on their temples and wrinkles and all that. Men that are at least around my father's age, which is 48.

WTF? Why do I only attract these kind of men? What's wrong with me (aside from the weight). Does me being Asian play a role?

I took it as aon offense, to be honest. The fact that these men think I would want them... is just outrageous and disgusting to me. Maybe some girls would go for older men with money, but not me. I'm always tempted to point out an older lady to these men and say "why don't you find someone your own age?"

Really. They're old enough to be my father, it's just disgusting.

Why do older men like to go for 20-something girls? Do they really think they have a chance?

Girls, how do you feel about this? has this ever happen to you?

Guys, if you reach the age, would you go for a girl young enough to be your daughter? Why?

I personally attribute this to three main factors. The first being that most women are prone to "Daddy Issues". This doesn't necessarily mean all females seek out mates that remind them of their fathers, but many do and for a number of reasons. Some women feel it appealing because it provides a sense of safety, security, and familiarity. A man that can provide for you, protect you, teach you, and you can be the apple of his eye. Other women who usually didn't grow up with a strong male role model or who have been emotionally or physically scarred by their fathers seem to seek out older men to in a way to compensate for the lack of a good, strong, male in their lives. Many older men are aware on some mental level that younger women will seek them out as to fill this father role and use this to their advantage.

The second being that our society has made a point of informing people that they should have their own lives situated and figured out before attempting to have a family. Perhaps these men are just getting a time in their life where they feel ready for this, but most women in their age range are not looking for this or capable of childbearing. Thus leading men to seek out younger more fertile mates.

Thirdly is that men see you as young, innocent, sweet and new. To a man you are a delicate budding rose that hasn't yet matured and experienced the harshness of this world. An older women is like a fully blossomed rose; very lovely in it's own right, but it is entirely opened and sees and knows the world for what it is. A budding rose possess the sweetest of scents within her light folds and dark crevices. The softest, prettiest petals tightly wrapped around themselves. A guy sees a gorgeously pure thing with so much potential that now he wants to protect from the hard things of this world. He wants nothing more that to preserve this perfectly lovely creation, to care for it and keep it for himself to enjoy the happiness it brings him. He can feel young and alive again just by having this one bright untainted thing in a grey and painful existence.

This is just my personal thoughts, but I suggest you just take it as a compliment. :)

yes, and they do have a chance most of the time. I wouldn't feel insulted but I would probably don't date them

I never intended to date a younger girl.. I ended up dating a 22 year old.. She is sweet and kind and respects me, and I find that she lights up a part of me that I didn't know existed. You make it seem horrible and salacious, but I do nothing I wouldn't do with a woman my own age. I am not rich, so it's not my money.. I do giver her respect and let her make her own mistakes and I don't treat her like a child. Yes we have sex, and we have great sex, but we go out s do things that are fun and interesting. She doesn't go clubbing, doesn't drink, and enjoys time with her family and friends, But she really love to be with me.. and i appreciate that a lot.

Older guys home in on younger girls, but they're turned down most of the time. They think a somewhat less attractive younger one will say yes to them..that's where the hitting on you comes in. They think they don't have much competition, until you have lost the weight!

The biggest factor in-play here are various levels of self-confidence. A younger guy is more likely not to have the courage to approach you, while the older man is more likely to have that confidence & courage.

Why is it disgusting for an adult male to approach a younger female its been resonable common throughout history so its nothing new? Or is it a result of the generation gap education system where you are supposed to relate to those within a narrow age group even at one of my sons schools they contancted me because my son plays interacts with children outside of his class age? Like seriously this was not a issue when I was growing up.
