Does he notice when we touch such as me touching his chest casually?

This guy friend and I have gotten really close (as friends) and I have started to like him. We can just be ourselves together and can tell each other anything personal without feeling embarrassed.

When alone, we walk very close, our arms even graze. Also, if I am encouraging him or saying "You idiot" jokingly or something when standing right in front of him (close), I casually touch his chest for a few seconds. Also, if sitting next to eachother, I sometimes swing my legs to touch his casually when talking.

When I do these things he doesn't react and we keep talking like I hadn't touched him. Had he noticed?

He's either taking as "you're a friend"

Or he's not reacting but keeping it in the back of his mind. And watching for other signals. To see if there maybe more, than just friendship. Before deciding if or how to reciprocate.

Thanks for your answer. I once asked for someone to help me up and 3 boys offered, including him and I took his. Another time that week, he automatically held his hand and I gladly took it. We always mess around pushing each other and teasing (all for fun). Sometimes we just randomly stare at eachother like when one of us enters a room and I just smile and he smiles back. Would love him to see me as more than a friend.
