Does mirroring always mean attraction?

Question

I've heard that people mirror the actions of others when they are attracted to them.
I'm curious how accurate this is though.
I have noticed that this guy stands the way I stand when we are talking, tilts his head the way I do, and runs his fingers through his hair while I'm doing it.
I don't think he's into me though, because I have heard he isn't interested in any kind of relationship.
I find it interesting that he kind of "copies" me.
From your experience does mirroring tend to mean attraction?
I've noticed I mirror my close friends in conversation but me and him aren't close at all- we are acquaintances at best.

Well let me tell you from my experience! :) I mirrored a lot of guys that I really really liked. Like I had a bad crush, or just very infatuated with them. I remember even some of my friends saying "You are acting like so and so" and I would catch myself and realize I am. It's subconscious and you don't even know you are mirroring someone, until you actually get called on it, then you realize. I would think it because he's attracted to you or infatuated with you of some sort. Cause think about it, why would someone mirror someone they hate? If you hate that person or don't like them, then you're not going to act like them or mirror their gestures or anything! Cause you would hate their gestures, looks, etc. So it is on a attraction level why this guy is doing this. He might even be giving you the single he likes you, cause he might too shy to initiate conversation.

It would be more logical if he was doing that cause he liked you. Also from my experience I mirrored guys I really liked, not just guys I liked, I mean guys I REALLY liked! lol! Guys that I were infatuated with. Hope everything works out! But yes, he's attracted to you, so if you like him go for it, girl! :) lol. Take care.

He's paying really close attention to you, and that could mean he finds you interesting or something but I'd say he's interested in you in another way of he mirrors you so closely.

Sometimes mirroring is a form of conformity, but the hair thing leads me to believe that it's probably attraction in this case, based on my experience.
